"Come on, child. Talk to it." Toriel encouraged you as she stood in front of the next entrance. You looked at her then at the dummy.

A cotton heart and a button eye. You are the apple of my eye.
The dummy doesn't do anything.

You said some things to the dummy, like how the sewing on it's figure is nice. ... It doesn't seem much for conversation, apparently.
Looking at the ground, you saw a stick and picked it up.
<3 Fight
Since you didn't know how to fight properly, you weakly threw the stick at it and it harmlessly bounced off the dummy.
Dummy got bored and was tired of your aimless shenanigans so it floated away.
Confused, you looked at Toriel but only saw a face of disbelief.
"L-let's get going then." said Toriel as she walked through the door.
You had one job.
