31 ∞ rum and coke
Lily never got to go to clubs – ever and now that she'd finally gotten in one, it had to be a gay club while looking for her best friend who had turned into a walking snake. To say her life was a mess would be a gross understatement. She couldn't even try to rebound that night because all the guys there probably liked other guys and she was not a guy. Oh and we have to stop the Kanima, I guess, she added in her head. Priorities, Lily, priorities.
The only plus side to the whole situation was the sheer amount of eye candy that she was surrounded by. Following after Scott and Stiles, she tried to stay focused on the task at hand but the flashing lights and loud music were rather disorientating. They spotted Danny at the bar, running over right as he left. Trying to look casual, Stiles smiled at the bartender, "Three beers." Lily shook her head at him and he altered his words, "Make that two beers."
"ID's," the bartender replied dryly, eyeing them up in suspicion. Lily rolled her eyes as both Scott and Stiles pulled out their ID's, missing the reason that she'd shook her head completely. They weren't of legal drinking age and they didn't have any fake ID's on them – Lily's was at home and Stiles and Scott didn't even have one. Despite this, they handed them over with no hesitation, not realising why the bartender was laughing as he raised his eyebrows, "How about two cokes?"
Stiles – being the genius he was – grinned, "Rum and coke? Sure."
Looking at the bartender's frown, she sensed that they may end up getting kicked out because of her stupid brother; Lily elbowed him, ignoring his exclamation of pain and smiling innocently at the bartender, "Coke's are great actually. Thank you." He sent her an exasperated look before nodding and disappearing to go get them their drinks. Getting the drinks in the first place seemed like a bad idea because they wouldn't get time to finish them but who was Lily to rain on their parade? Just because she couldn't have fun, didn't mean they couldn't.
Another bartender came over to them, holding the two cokes. He was topless and frankly, adorable but Lily shook those thoughts from her mind as he placed the cups down in front of Scott and Stiles. "This one's paid for," he told Scott, nodding his head to the other side of the bar. They all looked over in surprise, eyes landing on a rather attractive guy, nodding seductively at Scott. The sour look on Stiles' face spoke levels about his jealousy.
"Shut up," Stiles rolled his eyes, turning to the crowd.
Lily laughed at the smug look on Scott's face, taking pleasure in Stiles' annoyance, "I guess that answers the question of whether or not gay guys find you attractive."
Stiles glared at her, "At least they can consider me. You're a girl – you're completely ruled off the list." Lily stuck her tongue out at him childishly, before turning her attention to the crowd of dancing men. She had the weird urge to sing 'it's raining men' but knowing that no one would appreciate the genius of her humour at that time, she bit her lip, trying to find Danny in the crowd. It wasn't her who spotted him in the end – it was Stiles. "I found Danny," he told them, standing up straight.
Scott nodded, staring up at the ceiling, "I found Jackson." They all looked up in shock, following the shadow of his tail as he crawled along the ceiling. It was hard to imagine that this giant, scaly beast was her best friend but it was something that she had to accept by now. The only thing they could do was try to stop him from killing as they figured out a way to fix things - if they could figure out a way to fix things.
"Go, get Danny," Scott told them, "I've got Jackson."
He pulled his claws out and Lily and Stiles chose not to question him, rushing into the crowd of dancers in attempt to try and get to Danny before Jackson could. They pushed through the crowd, but the flashing lights and loud music were disorientating Lily and she found it hard to not get lost in the crowd, eventually losing her brother in the mass of bodies. She could hear Stiles shouting Danny's name but she couldn't seem to spot him. People were accidentally tugging on her hair and her clothes were damp with sweat that wasn't hers. Looking around wildly, she almost panicked when she felt someone grab her wrist to stop her.
