Once they'd gotten dressed for the party - Stiles dressing in a stupid suit and insisting that it was the proper party attire and Lily throwing on a leather jacket and skirt - they'd headed out, driving as fast as they could. Once they'd reached their destination, they split up in search of Scott and Allison. Lily came around the back, stopping at the pool and spotting Scott dancing with Allison. She also spotted Jackson and Lydia getting frisky - and while it was kind of gross to her - she was glad that it meant Jackson wouldn't ask any questions as to why she'd suddenly decided to show up after she told him she definitely wasn't coming.

Scott seemed to be looking at something and turning around, she was surprised to see Derek Hale standing there and staring back at him. Why was he showing up all over the place? Especially places to do with the supernatural? Glancing at Scott one last time, she approached him, raising an eyebrow, "What are you doing here?" It probably sounded rude but it was a valid question. Derek wasn't an old man but he'd still graduated a few years ago.

He looked at her, appraising her for a moment as if trying to determine something. "None of your business," he finally replied.

Her eyes narrowed at his response, "Why were you staring at Scott?"

Derek eyed her, as if surprised that she'd noticed him - which was silly because he was making it super obvious, standing there all broody and everything. "That's also none of your business."

Rolling her eyes, she opened her mouth to continue her questioning, "Well, what-"

"-do you always ask so many questions?" Derek sighed, sending her an annoyed look.

"Do you always evade them?'Cause right now it looks like you've got something to hide," Lily countered.

Derek raised an eyebrow, "Everyone's hiding something."

She paused for a minute before rolling her eyes. "Gosh, you're really milking this broody, bad boy aesthetic, aren't you?" Lily snorted, not intending the alliteration but also not hating the fact it had turned up. In her opinion, it made her sound wittier - like she planned the things she said out instead of what she really did, which was blurt out whatever came to mind.

"Well I was trying to go more for mysterious but apparently not," he replied dryly.

"Mysterious?" Lily scoffed, "Sorry, dude but you are shady at best."

Derek looked as though he was debating whether he found Lily amusing or annoying - most people thought both. "What about at worst?" he asked, a hint of curiosity in his voice. Could it be that the broody, bad boy is taking an interest in me?

"Oh trust me, you don't wanna know what I'm thinking of," Lily smirked. Suspicious, psycho, killer, werewolf, she thought but those were all just theories that would explain why he was seemingly obsessed with Scott. She hoped to god it wasn't him as he was her magic woods wish.

Opening his mouth to reply, Derek never got the chance to as Lily heard Allison shout, "Scott!" Turning around, she quickly caught Scott disappearing into the crowd and leaving a startled Allison behind. She didn't even think of saying anything to Derek as she chased after them both, pushing through people and gliding past Jackson and Lydia - who were still making out - and getting to the front porch right on time to see Scott drive off.

Allison watched him go, disappointed and upset by how Scott had left. Looking around, she saw that the jeep was leaving too, indicating that her brother had forgotten about her in his pursuit of Scott. She didn't mind too much as she knew they had their priorities. Sighing, she approached Allison, "Ditched too?"
