Chapter 23 - Warrior

*ZAYN'S POV*

We all stood there and waited for Amy to grab onto Harry and leave but she didn't she stood in front of me and Sapph put her skinny arm on her hip and looked straight into Sapph's eyes. What could possibly be the bomb she was going to drop on us this time? Sapph being herself didn't break eye contact and stared right back being completely fearless.

"You were pretty good I didn't expect this" she smirked evily and glanced at me then back to Sapph. Did she just admit we were pretty good was something wrong with her today there had to be some type of catch to this.

Sapph furrowed her perfect brows in confusion just like Harry and the rest of the us. Lou waved his hand suddenly in disbelief.

"Wait did you just say they were better than you?" Lou spoke cocking his eye brow at Amy.

"You didn't let me finish bubblegum boy" she smirked once again stepped closer to Sapphire. But Sapphire didn't budge she didn't even blink once.

"But you will never be better than me" she laughed like a witch and stepped back.

"Why don't you just leave Sapphire a lone Amy it's not like she has anything on you" Liam spoke up and Harry nodded. But they didn't know Sapph did have something on her something they both desired but only Amy was achieving.

"But she does, I thought you'd have been the first one to figure it turns out you aren't that smart after all" she laughed and walked away clicking on her heels.

"What'd she mean Zayn we know you both know" Niall pointed at me and Sapph but Sapph just shrugged her shoulders and walked towards her bag slipping out her iPhone, and putting her headphones on. I felt bad that I couldn't tell my friends but also I couldn't help Sapph, or comfort her.

*SAPPH'S POV*

After a long day of people looking at me as if I was some kind of alien I woke up to the noise of the piano being played from the basement meaning the recording room. Mum had gotten a special room with all music related stuff made for me as a gift for getting the admission to the college I really wanted to go to.

I hadn't really told anyone about it as in from the boys and I didn't want to either as it had a lot of songs I had recorded in there too attached to the my iMac, but now I was figuring someone or basically Lou had found out as he's the only one who really knows how to play the piano really well.

I stretched in my bed throwing off the duvet letting the cool air grasp my legs. I was wearing a plain full sleeve black shirt with a jean jacket that I had taken off before sleeping and red denim shorts.

I walked out and almost everyone apart from Lou were watching the football match, believe me I would too but I had to make sure Lou wouldn't spill or listen to anything personal.

*LOUIS' POV*

The door creaked open and Sapphires head bobbed in her long brown hair looking as if she had just woken up. She looked really tired and stressed her life wasn't really amazing at the moment either but I couldn't help but notice the fact that she was an amazing person and didn't deserve what she was getting. I passed her a cheeky smile but she looked hesitant as if she had already guessed I had gone through each song she had sung in that iMac. She sat next to me on the piano stool and looked at me for a second.

"You heard everything didn't you?" she passed me a smile and I couldn't help but laugh she knew me so well.

"Why do you say so? I don't even know what you're talking about" I shrugged whilst trying not to laugh.
