Ellie POV
Finally it was Monday morning. I was still exhausted from this weekend but I dragged myself to school anyway. I was at my locker putting my stuff away when I saw Amy heading my way.
“What do you want Amy?”
“That’s no way to talk to your friend. I wanted to see if you had given any thought to the whole Frankie situation,” she said.
“Uhh, friend? You are not my friend. And I had given it some thought.”
“So when are you going to leave him so I can be there to comfort him.”
“Well…never…I am not going to leave Frankie.”
“Ahh, you will regret this. Mark my words, she said storming off.
I just shut my locker and headed off to class. Frankie and I texted during first period, then Torie and I talked during second. Finally, it was lunch time. I was starving. I made my way to the cafeteria and got lunch. I sat down where Mitch and Will were sitting and waited for everyone else. Once everyone had shown up, I told them what Amy said to me this morning.
“You really don’t think she will try anything do you?”
I shrugged my shoulders. I honestly didn’t know. I would hope that she wouldn’t but just knowing my luck she would try something.
The lunch bell rand and the rest of the day went off without a hitch, thank god. Frankie and I headed home and spent the rest of the night cuddled on the couch watching TV.
*Tuesday morning*
I had headed to school early because I needed to talk to my math teacher about the problems I was having in the class. I headed to my locker and got all my math stuff. Thirty minutes later, I was heading back to my locker when I saw someone leaning up against my locker.
“Umm excuse me, you are against my locker.”
“So? What is it to you?”
“I need to get in it, so move.”
“Uhh, I don’t think so. You know you are cute when you are angry.”
“Excuse me, what did you just say?”
“I said you were cute,” he said brushing against my arm.
I had no idea who this kid was but he was getting on my nerves. If he didn’t stop touching me shortly, I was going to hit him.
“Don’t touch me,” I hissed.
“Aww come on baby, don’t be like that. You know you want me.”
“That’s where you are wrong buddy. I don’t want you. Hell, I don’t even fucking know you. So I suggest you get away from me before you get hurt.”
I slammed my locker shut and started walking away. I felt him tug my arm back towards him and his lips meeting mine. I pushed him away and decked him in the face.
“I swear to god, if you ever touch me again, you will never be able to have kids. Now get the hell away from me.”
He got up and ran away. I opened my locker again and pulled my books out. I heard the bell ring and I headed to class. I stopped by Frankie’s desk to tell him we needed to seriously talk after class. He just nodded his head and I went and sat down. After about twenty minutes or so, I could feel everyone staring at me. I looked around and they all turned away. I looked at Frankie, who didn’t look to happy but smiled anyway. I was getting pissed off, why is everyone staring at me? What did I do? The bell rang and I needed time to cool down so I headed out towards the bleachers. I had been there all of about fifteen minutes when I felt my phone vibrate.
There is something you need to see. Where are you?
I am outside by the bleachers
A few minutes later, I saw Torie running towards me. I could see the concern on her face. I knew this wasn’t good.
“What is going on? Is there something you would like to tell me first?”
“Well some guy tried to hit on me at my locker. Then he had the balls to kiss me. I pulled away and decked him the face.”
“Oh well then you should see this.”
Torie pulled out her phone and scrolled down through her phone and then handed it to me. I looked at the screen and then back at her. I then repeated the whole thing again and again. Sitting there on the screen was a picture of the guy kissing me.
“Great just great.”
“Well I believe it was sent to everyone in the school.”
“What? Are you freaking kidding me?”
She just shook her head. Then she got this look on her face.
“Oh god, you don’t think this was Amy’s doing do you?”
I thought about it for a minute and then shook my head.
“Yeah, this had her written all over it.”
I looked up and saw Frankie coming our way. Torie turned to see what I was staring at, when she saw Frankie, she took the opportunity to leave.
“What the hell is this? Is this what was important? Are you leaving me for him?”
He looked severely angry. I had never seen him like this. But I had to try and explain it to him.
“No I am not leaving you for him. I don’t even know him.”
“Well this picture says you do.”
“Look I think all this was a set up done by Amy. I think she got this guy to do all this, so you would leave me and she would swoop in ad get you.”
“Whatever look, if you didn’t want to be with me all you had to do was say so.”
“What are you talking about? I want to be with you, I love you.”
“Right sure you do. Look, I just need to think so I will stay at Dusty’s for a couple days.”
I just started crying. Frankie, my Frankie didn’t believe that this was Amy’s doing. He was just going to leave and not trust me. What the hell? I needed to get away from the school so I took off and headed home. And that is where I stayed for a day and a half.
