“Is that any way to treat the mother of your child?”

Ellie POV

I had to blink a couple of times in order to gain my ground and sanity.

“What did you just say?”

“Frankie here is the father of my son.”

Oh my god, how come Frankie never told me he had a child? What are we going to do? I don’t think I could handle being with someone who has a kid.

“I have no idea what you are talking about. We only had sex once and I wore a condom,” Frankie stated angrily.

“What do you want from us?” I asked.

“Us? Oh so you ARE a couple now huh? How interesting,” Amy said.

“All I want is for Frankie to take a paternity test. If it turns out he is the father, then we will go from there. If not, then I will leave you alone.”

“Fine we will meet you tomorrow at the paternity place. About 3ish?”

They just nodded and walked away. By now I was so confused and really needed time to think about everything that just happened.

“Come on hun, let’s go upstairs.”

“I’m sorry. I just can’t do this right now. I really need some time alone to think. I will see you later.”

With that said, I walked out of the apartment parking lot. So many thoughts were running through my head. Is the kid his? What were we going to do if it is? Would we stay together? What is he going to say when he finds out I am a virgin? I guess we really need to talk about everything.

30 minutes laterà

When I finally returned home, I found Frankie on the couch. When I closed the door, he looked up at me red eyed, like he had been crying.

“We need to talk about a lot of things and we need to do it now,” I said more sternly than I wanted to.

He just nodded.

“So obviously, you are not a virgin. How many times?”

“Three but I always used a condom.”

Is there any way that the baby could be yours?”

“I don’t think so. I was always careful.”

“Well what if it is yours? What do you want to do?”

I was kind of nervous for his response. I mean whatever his decision, I will respect it but I still don’t know what to think.

“If it is mine then I will be the father. I do not want the child to grow up fatherless.”

That’s the kind of answer I thought he would say but is he really going to want to stay with me after I tell him I am a virgin.

“Well I completely agree with you. I will support you if the baby is yours. I would like us to stay together as well.”

“Umm why wouldn’t we stay together?”

“Well, you will have other important priorities like the baby that you won’t even have time to think about us or me.”

“Why wouldn’t I think about you?”

“Because…because I am a virgin,” I stammered.

“Oh sweetie, that doesn’t even matter. Even if you weren’t a virgin, I would still stay with you.”

“Why?”

“Because…because I love you.”

Oh my god, did he just say that he loved me? Yes, I think he did. That is sooooooo amazing.

“I love you too.”

With that I knew we could stand through anything.
