I thought I heard my name coming from his direction. I turned my head slightly his way and I could tell he was looking my direction.

“Did you say my name?” I asked.

“What the hell would I do that for?”

“Look you don’t have to be so fucking mean. I never did anything to you. You were the one who left and then came back a hateful dick. I did nothing, I repeat nothing to you so get that through your thick skull,” I said angrily stomping out of the room.

Frankie POV

“Look you don’t have to be so fucking mean. I never did anything to you. You were the one who left and then came back a hateful dick. I did nothing; I repeat nothing to you so get that through your thick skull.”

Wow I can’t believe she just went off on me. Actually I can’t believe that she heard me. She is just so beautiful and I really want to talk to her. I always have ever since I got back. Lord knows she tried, multiple times. I just didn’t want to accept that she was who she was. I really need to think about this.

Ellie POV

“Hey how was school?” Torie asked.

“Ehh, I kinda sorta went off on Frankie.”

“You what? How could you do that to someone you love?”

“Excuse me? I don’t love him. Are you coming to my house or not?”

She nodded her head and we walked towards my car. After about twenty minutes of screaming our favorite songs, we reached my house. I pulled into the driveway and saw my mother’s car.

“Wait, isn’t that your mom’s car?”

I nodded. Something must be up because she is never home this early.

“Hi mom,” I said walking into the kitchen.

“Hi sweetie, hi Torie. How were your guys first day of school?”

“Oh it was good, went by kind of slow though.”

“Oh okay, well are you going to work on homework?”

We nodded and headed upstairs to my room. After finding a good CD to listen to while working, we got down to business. After about two hours, Torie headed home. I walked into the kitchen to see both of my parents sitting at the table.

“Honey, we have something to tell you.”

“Oh no did someone died? Is someone hurt?”

“Oh no nothing like that.”

I let out a sigh of relief and sat down.

“Now honey, we have an arrangement with another family, whom you will meet tomorrow.”

“Oh…umm…what kind of arrangement? A business/work arrangement?”

“Oh not that type of arrangement. An arranged marriage.” My father said.
