The whole thing with Natalie blew over quickly. They had no proof of Alex slapping her. No one would admit that they saw it either. You wouldn’t have wanted to mess with Alex.
Walking down the hall, I saw Alex getting books out of her locker. I walked up next to it, leaning against it.
“Hi,” Alex said.
“So, dinner tonight, my house?” I said fast, trying to get her to just agree with it.
She looked into my eyes and nodded her head. “Seriously? No argument?” I teased.
Closing her locker, she leaned up to me and kissed me gently on the lips. I put my arms around her hips, pulling her close. “Right here?” She whispered to me. I nodded, but she pulled away.
“What’s wrong?” I asked, looking at her. Damn she was gorgeous. There was something about her…
“I have to get home,” Alex said. Something was bothering her.
“Well at least let me walk you home,” I said, grabbing her hand. She looked up at me and nodded.
We were almost to her house, when she turned and looked at me. “What if your parent’s don’t like me? I don’t want this to end like some cliché movie.”
“You really think that they won’t like you?” She didn’t reply.
As I walked her up onto the front porch I pushed her against the front door and kissed her passionately.
“So what time am I coming over?” Alex asked me and I smiled.
“Six thirty.”
“I’ll see you then,” she said, giving me a quick kiss and walking into her house.
Two hours later…
“What time is Alex coming?” My mother asked.
“She should be here soon,”
“I’m really glad that I finally get to meet her!” My mother gushed. “Dinner will be perfect! Your father will be home too!”
“Wait, Dad will be home?” I asked, my face turning pale.
“Yes, he should be home shortly.” My stomach started to turn. I had only had her over because I thought that my father wouldn’t be home. This was going to be way worse than I thought.
The doorbell rang and I answered it, seeing a nervous Alex standing in the door way. “You look beautiful.” I said, looking her up and down. She had an off the shoulder bubble gum pink shirt on with navy blue skinny jeans on.
She walked into the house and I took her into the kitchen to meet my mother. “Oh Alex, it is so nice to meet you!” My mother gushed. She ran over to her and gave her a hug.
“It’s really nice to meet you.”
“I’m really glad that you can make it for dinner tonight! I hope that you like lasagna. Mason told me that you were Italian.”
“I love lasagna.” She said smiling.
“Mason, why don’t you show Alex around,”
