I worried about Alex as I walked home. She seemed mad about Natalie and she had all right to be. I knew that I needed to break up with her. I didn’t like her like that anymore. Anger ran through me. ­

I kept on walking, ignoring my emotions. I felt hands on my shoulders. I turned around, ready to punch whoever was touching me. I saw Lucas's face, accompanied by Jake. I lost the tension when i realized it was them.

"Chill out man!" Lucas screamed at me, scared. He was one of the only people that had actually seen me get seriously mad.

"You ok? You ain't looking to good." Jake said.

"I’m fine! Jeeeeez!" I said, not intending to be hurtful. "You know I’d tell my boys if something was up." I added wrapping my arms around Jake’s and Lucas's necks.

"So you finally got yourself a decent girl." Jake teased, "Your officially one of us now." A devious smile on his face gave away to exactly what he was thinking.

I smiled, but not exchanging the devious smile that he did. Mine was a smile that actually meant something, even though his did too. He actually did like Rose. They had known each other forever, and had been going out for a year and a half.

"Man, have you told Natalie yet?" Lucas added in carefully. He was one of the star football player too, and one of my boys.

“Told her what?”

“That you have feelings for someone else. Is it that hot chic Alex?” They both just stared at me, so I guess I just felt obligated to talk. “I don’t know what you guys are talking about.”

          “Man you must have it bad if you are lying to us.” I didn’t say anything. I just wasn’t in the mood for their shit today.

"Why don’t you two chill over at me place for a while?" Jake asked.

Lucas waited for my approval before he answered. "I think I’m gonna skip it... I got to get home." And with that, I turned down my street.

A/N

Ok so for those of you that read this, please do not skip over the author's notes! And also, please comment if you read this. If I will dedicate if I get good comments!!! And if anyone thinks that this is cliche, trust me, the story has hardly started.

So I started to actually plan out out the story and it's going to probably have like 50-100 chapters, but they will be on the shorter side, much like the ones that I have already posted.

Also, Mason's POV will not always be this short, but I'm just trying to incorperate him and develop his character through short chapters, because really it's all about Alex at the moment.

So I leave you with a SPOILER this time: You think Alex is "bad" already, then you have another thing coming. In the next chapter you will see a side of Alex that you will rarely see.
