Walking out of first period and talking with all my boys again felt different than it normally did. Usually, I was in the conversation but I was too preoccupied.
"So, I see you were flirting with that new girl," Jake said.
I sighed, "No, I wasn’t," I said more aggravated than embarrassed or defensive. She was definitely hot, but Natalie is my girlfriend.
"You sure on that bro?" Now, yes Jake was my best man, but he was a total flirt.
"I never said she wasn’t pretty, but you guys know I’m dating Natalie,”
“Well she ain’t gonna be on the market long,” Sean said.
