“Well, 18 of you passed the finals, which is good and all but… I feel so sorry for the seven students who failed. I guess we’ll be seeing each other this summer, Chloe, Richardson, William, Alice, Penelope, Erica and… Chris.”

Well it was to be expected. I never got to study to my fullest because of… No. I’m not going to blame her for this. It’s my own negligence that brought down my downfall. I should’ve studied more instead of logging on Grandiel that weekend.

“Next Monday’s the start of your summer vacation, so enjoy it guys! Monday’s also the start of the summer classes, the seven of you will come at the usual time of classes. Don’t worry; it’s just for a whole month.” Sir Hank added and dismissed the class at around 9 in the morning. It only took one hour today to give the students a rest.

“Too bad Chris. Looks like we should’ve taken the tests seriously.” One of the guys, Richardson, said.

“I guess I got over confident.” I sighed and tried getting over it.

“Don’t look so gloomy Chris! It’s just summer classes. You’ll live.” Richardson, one of my guy friends and also with me during these classes, said.

“Oh, I know! Wanna come along with us? We’re gonna play Grandiel Online at an LAN café.” I look at Natasha and her friends and they seem to be consoling each other. Well, I think those two are; Natasha was cheering them up.

“I’ll pass up on that for now.”

“What? Again? You’re not busy anyways!”

“I’ll join you later today! I promise!”

“R-really? Well, let’s meet up at Grandiel at the same place.” The guys soon left as I avert my gaze back to Natasha and the others but again, they were gone as I looked away for a while. I hurriedly left the classroom and manage to catch up with them along the staircase.

“N-Natie!” I called out to her; she looks back and stops from walking.

“…”

“N-Nat, we’ll be waiting at the shoe lockers, okay?” Erica said, leaving the two of us to talk alone.

“Natie… I have something important to say.”

“W-what is it?”

“W-well… about last Friday… I didn’t expect you were doing that… and well… I know it was wrong… and… I just wanted you to know…”

“Y-yes..?” I looked at Natasha and she was holding tightly her chest, shunning her head away as she listened.

“I’m really—“ a ring came from my NET.

“Someone’s calling you, Chris.”

“I-I know, but this is really important…”

“Don’t mind me, just answer the call first.” With Natasha saying that, I did look at who was calling.

[Answer call from ‘Sara’?]

[Yes.]

“Hello?”

“Yo! How’ve you been?”

“You again…” I sigh a bit and began to think that she was really doing it on purpose.

“H-hey! Is that how you’d talk back to me, you crybaby!”

“I-I’m not a crybaby! Besides, what made you call?”

“Well I’m just gonna remind you of Sunday.” I guess I shouldn’t be surprised about the reason why she called; she was really expecting this Sunday after all.
