“H-hi! I’m… Natasha Graham.” I said with my voice quite shaking and somewhat sounding monotonous altogether.

“What’s the weird pause there?” Saja points out.

“D-do I really need to do this?” I nod my head down, all embarrassed.

“Of course! We’re practicing for your class introduction after all.” Saja said with confidence.

“B-but why is he here?!” I point out to another person in the weaponry with us, Einsworth.

“What’s wrong with that? I’m usually here, right Sara?”

“But of course, Chris!” the two soon show off their mischievous grins. Knowing them, this isn’t just for my lack of confidence during self-introductions.

“You two… are getting a kick out of this…”

“H-huh? No, don’t be silly!” Saja brushes off my remark, clapping her hands and saying, “Okay, from the top!”

I look timidly at Chris, he just smiles and like Sara, keeps on egging me to do another self-introduction. After an hour, we said our goodbyes and all three of us logged off from Grandiel since tomorrow was me and Sara’s first day of school. I wake up, lying down comfortably on my bed. I look beside me and see Sara still lying there. She soon makes it back in reality and sits upright on the mattress.

“So, there you go. You’re ready, I think.” was her first words after logging off.

“I hope so… geez, why can’t I just walk in the classroom without this?” I pouted.

“Stop complaining and it’ll be over soon.” I sigh deeply still pouting. Sara lays her arm on my shoulder saying, “I’m there so don’t worry.”

“Thanks.”

“Well, I hope I am.” Sara looks away whispering.

“W-what’s that supposed to mean?”

“We aren’t exactly on the same class… yet.”

“And you didn’t even bother telling me this because..?”

“Well, let’s just hope for the best!” she brushes it off patting me at the back. After saying our goodbyes in front of my house, she goes down a few steps and enters her own house. We were neighbors after all, so it was kind of silly to send her off. Upon going back inside, my mom soon calls me out.

“Nat! Don’t forget your things for tomorrow.”

“I know, mom. I’ll be going up to prepare them.”

“Oh and your uniform—“

“They haven’t actually send it in yet since I was a late enrollee, so I’ll be wearing my old one!”

“Okay! I’ll call you down when dinner’s ready.”

After this brief conversation, I went back to my room and from inside the closet, I took out one particular box. When we moved in a few days before, I left this box unopened until this day. Ripping off the tape sealing the box, I slowly open it and taking out the contents one by one.

The box contained all of my school-related things, from notebooks to the very bag I used, it was all in there. Looking at them, I recall all of the things that one semester I have experienced with everyone. I start missing them altogether as I remember the past all while trying to pack up my bag for my first day of class tomorrow. I do hope nothing goes wrong.

After having dinner and helping out with the dishes, I was about to go to sleep when I receive an unexpected call from Chris.
