My thoughts are adrift. If it wasn’t enough for my heart to be uneasy being with people I still don’t know much about, that particular moment is in my mind, playing over and over again. Chris was with another girl I do not know: I just don’t know what to think of anymore.
“Where do you wanna seat, Tasha?” said Sara, who was right in front of me.
“…”
“Tasha?” Sara comes close to me, looking at me straight in the eye.
“H-huh?” Sara’s gaze and voice shook me out of my own drifting thoughts.
“Are you alright?”
“Y-yeah, why wouldn’t I be?”
“Hey Natasha! Sara! You guys can seat here!” Alicia’s voice calls us from a distance. As I look around, everyone was already in their cubicles holding up to four people inside. Sara grabs hold of my hand as she guides me to where Alicia was.
A NET lounge has a capacity of holding around 70 people at the same time. We were 25 in the class plus Sara making us 26 in total. Everyone clumped up into their peers, with me and Sara being paired up with Alicia and Kathy.
“See you in Grandiel, you two!” says Alicia right before she logs in. Kathy, without saying a word, logs in too, leaving only the two of us there.
“We should log in too, Tasha.” Sara suggested.
“Y-yeah.”
[Log in to Grandiel Online?]
[Yes.]
[Logging in…]
[Log in successful.]
Opening my eyes, I find myself back inside of Saja’s weaponry shop. Saja was there, standing near the door, waiting for me.
“Ready?” Saja asks me, holding a mirror on her hand.
“Yeah. Let’s go.”
A bright bluish light engulfs us and amidst the bright light emerged our real life selves, as Sara and Natasha respectively. Hiding the mirror back in our inventory, we made our way to the meeting place. The guild house in Crain was located in the middle portion of the town.
The Nova Raiders Guild Fort. It was previously called Alleria Hall, wherein it was supposed to be the second PvP stadium bigger than Aizca’s and where official in-game tournaments will be held. The plans of it becoming the stadium came into cancellation and was instead turned into a guild house occupied by the strongest guild in Grandiel. Upon entering the guild house, the once splendid halls of Alleria Hall still remains, only a bit crowded with the occupation of its current guild. Everyone was here already. This must be their spawn point.
Spawn points are places where players would normally spawn when logging in Grandiel. Player-owned houses and weaponrys, Guild Forts and even inns are some examples. New players spawn in the beginner town, Clarhild, and will continue to respawn there until a certain spawn point is made.
“Hey Natasha!” A red twin tailed woman approached me. She was wearing fox ears, a maroon sleeveless robe with some light armor.
“Um… who are you?” I ask the woman, not knowing who she was, or who anyone was for that matter.
“It’s me! Alicia.”
“O-oh, so…” I look up her head and see her name: Faylin.
“Yep, the name’s Faylin. Kinda far-fetched from my real name huh?” Faylin giggles.
“A little bit, but aren’t avatar names supposed to be like that?”
“Yeah… speaking of which, why are you two using the mirror?” Sara and I look at each other, “W-well, we have our reasons…”
