Well, this chapter gets me in the feels.
Sorry this took so long. A potential agent needed me to edit THE ENTIRE 600 PAGES OF BLUE MOON before I submitted it. So I edited the last 400 today and completed my submission. I'll hear back in 2 weeks and after all that work, I sure hope they are interested in representing it.
I hope you like the chapter. :)
I listened to "Hello" by Adele (YES I KNOW IT'S EVERYWHERE BUT IT'S ACTUALLY REALLY PRETTY) during the last scene. It gave me more feels.

Chapter 10: Stop
It's 2017 now, and both Jack's birthday (eighteenth) and Videl's birthday (twenty-fourth) have passed and Loki STILL hasn't gone to Ardhigiza which means I STILL haven't gone back to Earth. Loki is apparently procrastinating because he wants to sniff out every little detail about Ardhigiza before he sets a toe in there. And I'm getting really impatient.
There are a couple ways I could approach this.
1. Follow Loki around everywhere and beg like a child. Probably not the best idea in the entire planet. And also he'd just get annoyed. Which will make it worse. (Probable End Result: Loki's annoyance and my dignity sinking into the ground)
2. Tearfully beg. Unfortunately, I'd forgotten how to beg properly. The last time I'd truly begged Loki for something was a year ago when I'd begged to go back to Asgard. (Spoiler: It hadn't worked.) (Probable End Result: See above)
3. Sneak off Ardhigiza myself. First of all, I'd more than likely be caught and then Loki wouldn't be going anywhere and I wouldn't either because I'd probably be banned to my room for approximately all of eternity. Second of all, I wouldn't be helping Videl anyway because I don't think the elders are going to exactly name me poster princess of the month. (Probable End Result: Death, either from the elders or Loki, take your pick)
4. Bribe him. I mean, I could bribe Loki with my loss of childhood and childhood memories, not to mention him killing me two years ago, not to mention him keeping my entire ancestry a secret for fourteen years, not to mention being stupid and trying to outsmart Neidra, but I think that would probably make him more likely to to disown me than agree with me. (Probable End Result: Death, abandonment, imprisonment, etc.)
5. Be patient. No.
6. BE PATIENT. HELLO NO.
I really think you should be patient.
Klaka is lounging on my bed with his head in his paws. I'm pacing in front of the window and trying not to start carving random patterns into my bed posts out of pure frustration.
I glare at my dog. "I know what I should do. I just don't want to do it. Videl helped me without a thought." I consider what I just said. "Well, he helped me once he made the decision not to kill me."
Loki is worried about Ardhigiza. I think he's being smart. You and Videl are being too rash to just walk into this.
"Videl doesn't have time," I say, flopping on the bed and staring up at the ceiling. "The longer he waits, the more of a fool he makes for himself. And the more opportunity for the elders to do something stupid."
Yes, but what if they already have done something stupid? What if they're on Neidra's side now?
"Then they would have killed Videl by now."
They could be waiting.
"There'd be no point in that."
Until Loki knows the details of Ardhigiza, he is being intelligent by waiting.
