*Present day at the hospital*

*Echo's POV*

". . . And that's why Riot gets so emotional over the roses and lilies . . . It's also how we met."

"Well, what happened after that?!" CC asked, nearly in tears.

"I moved in with Echo . . . We changed our names and as soon as Echo graduated from high school, we got our own apartment a few miles away from home and went to college," Riot answered.

I crossed my arms and pouted. "Yeah, she practically forced me to finish high school."

"Guuurl, errbody needsss a edumacation!" Everybody burst out laughing. Jake even laughed so hard he almost fell on the floor. "Oh. God, sorry! I'm still a little messed up in the head from pain killies."

No one wanted Riot to get upset again, so we called the nurse and had her give Riot some more pain killers. She was loopy and talking about random things. Mainly sex. And, sadly, Mister Fluffernutters. Apparently he was sitting in her bedroom, waiting for her to come home.

Poor thing . . .

*Two weeks later* (Mid-August)

CC and I decided since I'm about a month-and-a-half pregnant, we should start looking for things for the baby's nursery. Of course, we don't know the gender yet, so we're staying neutral. We agreed not to get any clothes, just furniture and essential things.

"Okay, we'll be back later!" CC screamed into the apartment after leading me into the hall. No one knew that we were going baby shopping. They probably though we were going to find a new place to have sex. Although, I don't know why we'd find a new place. My bedroom was working just fine.

We rand down the stairs, being too energetic to wait for the elevator, and jumped into my car. CC blasted some music I sort of recognized, but I was to hyper to put a name on it. CC was jamming out in the passenger seat, singing along and air-drumming. I just laughed the whole time.

When we got to Babies 'R' Us, We walked in the front doors hand-in-hand with big smiles on our faces. We started looking around at the signs hanging from the ceiling. The cribs and little carriers were towards the back, so we started sprinting through the isles, trying our hardest not to run into almost-due mommies and super-confused daddies, all shopping for their little babies. Born and unborn.

We finally got to the isle with the cribs. Most of them were white, which was good for us, but we still had a hard tome choosing. One had a changing table connected to the end of it, but another one had a cute little white canopy above it. Why is it so hard to shop for a baby!?

"Well, which one do you want?" CC asked me.

"I don't know . . . It would be so much easier if we knew what our little Mini Mora was."

"First time parents?" I heard a voice come from behind us. We both turned around to see a smiling mother with her four children of all different ages. "It gets so much easier after you hit month four. You should know the sex by then."

She just smiled at us and we stared at her. I didn't know what to say and apparently, neither did CC. "So how far along are you?" The lady asked me.

"Uh . . . About six weeks . . ."

"Oh, it's just a little nugget! How cute!" One of her three sons (one infant daughter) started picking his nose. "Dante, quit that!" The little boy shot to attention with his arms tight at his sides, which kind of scared me.

"Yeah, our little Mini Mora . . ." CC smiled sweetly and placed a hand on my lower tummy. I just stared at him in amazement. He was . . . He looked so sweet with that adoring look on his face.

"Oh, how sweet! You're going to be a great father! Well, I recommend the brand Delta. Their cribs are so safe and the babies love them! They also have great blankets and rocking chairs! But if you're looking for car seats and carriers, go with Graco. Extremely safe!"

"Oh, well, uh . . . Thanks . . . That really helps, like . . . A lot." I said quietly.

"Of course! Oh and since you don't know the sex yet, I'm sure you can have the store hold the crib you want until you get an ultrasound. Or buy it now and if it doesn't fit the baby's personality or gender, just exchange it for the one you want!"

"Wow," CC said. "Thank you so much!"

"Sure thing!"

"Mommy!!!!" One of the boys complained. "I gotta go potty!"

"Oh, dear. If you two will excuse me . . ." And just like that, she left us standing in the isle. And when I turned around, I saw the most perfect crib in the world.

"CC . . . I want this one. It's perfect."

"Okay! But only as long as if Mini Mora ends up being a girl, we get her these." And he held up a pair of little sparkly pink fairy wings. Oh, CC . . .

I giggled. "Fine. But if Mini Mora is a boy, he's playing the drums."

"Pshh!! Mini Mora is playing the drums whether it's a boy or a girl, babe."
