29: Bullying

Shawn's POV:

"I remember when Y/N and I would sit next to each other at lunch. She would literally always brighten my day, no matter what happened. But the only thing that was a problem with her and I, was she had friend zoned me. Hard core." The room erupts in laughter and cheers. I grin before continuing.

"About five months into school, there was the urgent need for me to become her sunshine, the reason her day brightens up. People had messing with her, and she was taking it really harshly. On some random Saturday, I arrived at her house at exactly ten AM. I remember every half hour for twenty four hours of staying at her house, I would tell her how beautiful she was, and how much she was worth." I pause to look around the room. Y/N's mom and my mom both have tears pouring down their faces. I glance over to my beautiful bride to see her crying too.

"And not to soon after, I think I did something that has never been done before. I broke out of the friend zone." Through all of the tears, everyone begins to laugh again.

"Now, I'm standing here two years later, speaking at our reception. I hope to soon tell this to our children once we start our family. They deserve to know how strong their mommy really is." I pause to raise my champagne glass, "So I propose a toast to strong, beautiful new wife, Y/N. May we continue to grow together!"
