Y/N's POV:

Rain hits the windows nonstop, and I sink down even farther on the couch.

"I'm so bored." I whine. Shawn comes in from the kitchen with two mugs of tea.

"Well, that's what we get for booking a vacation in Hilton Head during hurricane season." He hands me the mug, and a take a sip as he falls onto the couch beside me.

"You know, I have an idea of what we can do." I smirk, setting my mug on the table. He follows my lead and leans in, pushing his soft lips against mine. Our lips slowly start to move in sync, as his hand slides up my thigh. He leans back a little, disconnecting our kiss.

"And what may that be?" He asks, his voice husky.

"Board games." I pull my lip between my teeth before getting up off the couch and walking to the game closet.

Shawn and I decided to come down to Hilton Head to take a summer vacation away from work and life. The day we got down here, we were at the beach, then the heavens opened up and it started pouring down rain. It hasn't stopped since and that was three days ago.

"How would you feel if I beat you in Monopoly?" I call over my shoulder.

"That's not gonna happen." He says. I bring the game over to the coffee table.

"Sure, honey. Keep on dreamin'." I tease. We take a few minutes to set up the board.

"I call being banker." Shawn practically yells.

"Shawn, what's seven hundred and ninety six plus two hundred and seven?" I inquire.

"Wait what?"

"Exactly, I'm banker." I joke. He sticks his lower lip out, making it quiver. "Okay fine, Mr. Pouty face, you're banker. But I get the thimble." I hand him the stack of money and pick up the small, metal game piece.

We finally get the game started, each of us buying every property we land on. I roll the dice, crossing my fingers to get a five, which is exactly what I need to reach BoardWalk. Whoever buys BoardWalk almost always wins the game. The dice land. A three and a two.

"Yes!" I squeal, moving the token to the blue space. Shawn rolls his eyes and hits underneath the board, causing the pieces and cards to go everywhere.

"I give up. I have a better idea." He smirks. I lick my lips, then lean in, our lips colliding.

"You're cleaning that up, Mr. Mendes."

"I know, but it was totally worth it."
