Shawn's POV:

"Okay then, little girl. Just go home and kill yourself, why don't you? It'll save you heart break." I growl. Y/N instantly looks hurt as I turn away. She never looks hurt after I insult her.

I've been insulting Y/N throughout our high school years. She broke my heart without realizing it freshman year. She's been insanely well put together throughout it all, making me want to stop, but I knew she had a breaking point, and I was going to reach it.

Oddly, remorse courses through me, something that also never happens. Maybe I didn't really want her to reach her breaking point. The bell rings just as I step into class, preventing me from further worry until school is dismissed. The second my foot touches the hallway after the dismissal bell, my mind is back on Y/N.

"Colin, bro, you're friends with Y/N." I call, trying to stop Colin. He rolls his eyes.

"What Mendes?" He asks, coldly.

"Where does Y/N live? It's urgent. I'm, um, I'm her project partner for biology." I stutter. He reluctantly feeds me her address, and the second the last word is out of his mouth, I bolt out to the parking lot, fumbling with my keys to my jeep.

"Shawn! You comin' to the party tonight?" Ian calls as I turn the car on.

"Um, maybe." I reply, matching the volume of his voice. Without any hesitation, I pull out of the parking lot, pushing the speed limit as fast as I could to get to the address Colin gave me.

I pull up to a nice looking brick house and take a deep breath before I go up to the front door and knock. Seconds pass before the door opens, my heart racing wildly. Her dad is standing before me.

"Hi, Mr. Y/L/N, I'm Y/N's project partner for biology,  Shawn Mendes, and she told me to come over to her house. She told me to meet her up in her room." I explain as quickly as possible.

"Um, okay Shawn. Her room is down stairs and it's the third door to the left." He smiles. I paste a fake smile on and make my way quickly to her room, adjusting my backpack on my back. I knock on her door quietly.

"Y/N, I'm here." I mutter. No response. Maybe I'm too late. I push the door open and look around the mid-sized room, not seeing any trace of Y/N. Out of the corner of my eye, I spot an open pill bottle, and instantly, my heart shatters.

Slowly, I tiptoe to the connected bathroom. Lying on the floor is an unconscious Y/N.

Suddenly, I realize everything I've done. I've bullied this girl to no end, wanting to see her break to pieces just like my heart had in freshman year. I even went to the extreme of telling her to kill herself. Which she has attempted to. And I hate myself for it.

"Mr. Y/L/N! Your daughter! Come quick!" It's time for me to come clean.

And I did just that once Y/N was safe and alive at the hospital.

Again, another sucky ending... I'm sorry guys... I've kinda got writer's block right now.

BUT CAN WE TAKE A MOMENT BECAUSE THIS IS THE HUNDREDTH PART SO FAR IN THE BOOK THAT'S INSANE

QOTD: Have you ever been bullied?

AOTD: No, thank goodness. But always remember that you have to tell an adult. It needs to stop.
