This imagine is for Bellapineda2020 I hope you like it love!

Bella's POV:

"I don't like anything that has to do with mud. I'm a girly girl. I like skirts and diamonds, not dirt and dump trucks." I complain playfully.

"Bella, love, this won't get you muddy. You'll be in a chair on the banks of the river." He laughs, pulling onto the gravel side of the road.

"Whatever. I'm surprised you even got me this far. I mean, the overalls were pushing it, but now you've got me at a bait shop." I giggle, opening the passenger side door. He climbs out of the car, laughing with me, then grabs my hand, tangling our fingers together. We walk into the wooden cabin, and immediately the smell of fish hits me.

I look around at the bait and fishing poles hanging from the wall and cringe. This really isn't my thing.

Shawn grabs a tackle box from off the shelf and leads me to the cash register. The cashier quickly checks us out. We go back out to the Jeep and gather our chairs and our fishing poles, then begin the trek down the nature trail to reach the lake. He plops the chairs down onto the ground once we reach the shore and takes a deep breath.

"Look at this. This is gorgeous." He smiles. A bird flies over head as I gently lay the fishing poles onto the dirt shore. A small wave laps up on rocks.

"Wow. I wasn't expecting this. This is so peaceful." I admire my surroundings.

"Alright, Bella. Let's cast out our lines so maybe we can start catching some fish." He says. I set up my camping chair and plop down into it.

"I love you, Shawn." I mutter as I watch him set up his chair and sit down next to me. He looks at me, locking his topaz eyes with my brown eyes.

"I love you more, Bella." He places his hand on my cheek, gently pressing his lips to mine. I smile into the kiss and pull back.

"Okay, let's catch our dinner." I joke. He laughs, picking up his fishing pole. I follow his lead and after putting our bait on the hook, we cast our lines out into the almost still water.

"Now we wait."

Seconds later, my pole begins to bend.

"Oh my goodness, I think I've got one!" I squeal. He stares at my pole in disbelief.

"How is that even possible?" He chokes on his words before leaning over and grabbing the fishing pole from me. "Are you going to help me reel it in?" He asks. I shrug.

"Sure." I take the pole back and Shawn begins to explain how to quickly reel the fish in so we don't lose it. He places his hand over mine and helps me to reel the tugging line back into shore. When we finally get the invisible string out of the water, we examine the fish I had hooked onto.

"You caught a bass. And it's literally the perfect size. I've never done that when I've gone fishing." He chuckles, taking the squirming fish off of the metal hook. He tosses it into a cooler we had brought with us.

"Who knows? Maybe I have a knack for fishing."
