Kookie collapsed on his bed as Tae threw their school stuff into the corner.
"Hyung, what if it's that kid who's always stuttering when he talks to me?," the younger propped himself up on his arms.
"Which one," Tae sarcastically asked as he sat down next to him, his back to the younger.
"Seriously, he seems like he might be depressed," Jung rolled to his stomach and started to play with his fingers, "If I can help someone I want to."
"Kookie, you're too nice to some people," Tae laid back, his bushy hair staying perfectly in place.
"I've always wondered what you did to this," Jung laughed as he ran his fingers through his hyung's hair.
"I shower and comb it," Tae responded lightly, "And dye it a lot. But that doesn't matter."
"It does matter," Jung rolled to his back and looked up at the ceiling. His stomach growled and he sighed, "We should have stopped for food."
"Text Ji Min," his hyung suggested, "Tell him we'll pay him back later."
"And then don't," Jung joked as he pulled his phone from his pocket, "What do you want?"
"It doesn't matter," he rolled to his side and watched the text go through, Jung saying he wanted something with beef.
"Sound good?," Jung looked to his elder and lightly smiled.
He nodded, half asleep unlike usual, "Did you ever think that the person sending the letters is Ji Min?"
"It can't be Ji Min," he shook his head, "He can't keep quiet about stuff like this."
"So we're back to the stuttering kid?," Tae smiled, "But what if it was Ji Min?"
"Is it?," Jung Kook put his phone away.
"I'm not sure. It kind of resembles his hand writing though," he opened his eyes so he wouldn't fall asleep.
"Would you ask him for me? If he's going through something, I don't want him to face it alone," Kookie's convincing pout started to form, the one he always used to get Tae to do things for him.
"Aish," the older boy sat up and scratched his head, "Fine, don't give me those sad eyes."
"Thank you," Jung lightly laughed.
Tae rolled his eyes before he tackled his dongsang, pinning his arms to the bed, "You're so sneaky!"
"Hyung," he whined, trying to break free without hurting Tae Hyung, "It's not my fault that you're a big softie!"
"I am not, you just look like a bunny. And who doesn't like bunnies?," Tae smiled.
Kookie's stomach growled again and they both looked to his belly then back to each other and started to crack up.
Jung was turning red, and you'd think it'd be from lack of oxygen, but he was actually embarrassed. The way Tae was positioned above him seemed like something from romance animes, which he'd recently gotten addicted to along with all the others he watches. He blamed that on the letters.
"Hey guys," Ji Min's voice sounded as the door opened, then he paused at the scene in front of him, "Tae!," he put their food on the floor and walked over to the bed.
Jimin kicked his friend off the younger, who sat up coughing.
"Ow!," Tae hyung held his side were Ji Min's foot hit, "What was that for?"
"Kookie isn't yours! He belongs to anonymous!," Jimin shouted, "Speaking of," he went back to the food and picked up the bag, then reached in and pulled out an envelope.
"Another one? Where was it?," Kookie stood up to get the letter.
"I found it outside on the gate. It was just taped there," he brought the food to the bed and Tae Hyung started to raid it.
"How'd you get this so fast?," the alien asked.
Jimin smiled, "It was actually pure coincidence that I was buying it when you texted. I just asked them to triple my order."
"You finished your chores that quick too?," Kookie asked as he pulled the paper from the envelope.
"No, but mom let me off with just taking the trash out. She said it's been a long week for everybody, so she'd let me come spend some time with our precious, little Kookie."
"I'm not precious or little," Jung scoffed at him and unfolded the letter, which looked just like it normally did.
"Read it to us Kookie!," Tae sighed as he stuffed his mouth full.
"Okay," Jung sat down in between his hyungs on the bed and became the top point of the triangle before he started to read.
Did you have a good day? It seemed to me that you were a little distracted during English lessons. I couldn't help but wonder if you were thinking of me.
Yeah, I was there. I've always been there, but I guess I'm not obvious enough with how I'm feeling.
Anyway, because I need to say this, I love you. More importantly, I've grown to love your smile, and your laugh as well. Hopefully you realize what music you bring when you laugh.
Is that still your dream? To be a star? An idol? I believe in you, even if no one else does. I've heard you say that your parents are slightly against shipping you off.
That sounds.....creepy, doesn't it? Don't worry, I'm not a stalker. I've never hidden around corners. In fact, I've always been in plain view.
Hopefully you'll see me one day.
Sincerely Anonymous.
"Woah," Tae Hyung's voice was muffled as he had his mouth full again.
"That's some pretty powerful shit," Jimin grabbed it and started to study the sheet.
Jung Kook dug into the bag of food, rambling off his ideas as to who it could be, but Jimin tuned him out.
His eyes fixed on the top corner of the paper where an erased name was barely visible. He squinted, trying to make it out, then finally was able to piece it together.
He looked up to see Tae Hyung eyeing him, then he shook his head.
Jimin folded the paper and cleared his throat, "So, how many is that now?"
"This is the eighth one," Jung looked at it and paused before answering, "Eat, hyung. We'll worry about it later."
"Okay Kookie," Jimin seemed to be a tad bit disappointed, but Jung knew it wasn't at him, somehow.

After their meal, the three of them laid across the bed, just relaxing and joking about like they normally did.
Jimin and Kookie were laying the same way, but Tae Hyung was different so he was upside down to them. He just said it was easier to punch their stomachs, since he was in the middle.
"So, Jung Kook, did this letter narrow down your list?," Jimin asked once he finished laughing.
"Actually, yeah," Kookie rolled to his stomach and made a pillow with his arms.
"How many suspects?," Tae sat up and got comfortable with his legs crisscrossed.
"Five," Jung responded quietly, "five students and Mr. Kim."
"So you're taking my suggestion now?," Tae grinned.
"Well, I thought about it, and it makes a lot of sense. What's in the letters matches up to our normal contact and conversations. Plus, he's my English teacher so he'd of course know what happened in there today."
Jimin and Tae exchanged looks, which Kookie found strange, then Park got up, "I guess I'll go home and research to the best of my abilities."
"You can't stay?," Jung pouted.
Jimin shook his head as he gathered up the mess from when they ate, "No, sorry. Mom wants the family to go out and eat together tomorrow. It's her birthday after all."
"Yeah, you're right. See ya Monday then," Kookie waved to him and Tae did the same, only quieter.
The door closed and Tae turned back to the younger boy.
"How many weeks has he bailed on us now?," Tae reached over and fixed the parting in Jung's hair.
"He's not bailing," Kookie rolled his eyes at that.
"Yes he is. I think he has a girlfriend, but he just won't say anything for whatever reason," Taetae took the same position as Jung Kook.
"We're third years, the lot of us. We need to get dates. I don't know about you, but I don't plan on being alone my entire life."
"You're younger than me!," Tae exclaimed, but he didn't lift his cheek off his arm, so he looked a little silly.
"Aish, hyung," Jung pushed on his shoulder, "I know that. I'm just saying."
"Do you think you'd settle for Anonymous?"
Jung breathed out and looked away from Tae for a couple seconds, "I wouldn't call it settling. If I actually like them, it wouldn't be settling."
"What would it be then?," Tae smiled.
"Forget about that," Jung poked his hyung's cheek, "Why haven't you been smiling lately? What happened to it? Where did it go?"
"I haven't had a reason to smile, Kookie. You know that," he closed his eyes.
"Do you want to talk about it? I'll let you cry if you need to," the younger offered.
"Not right now. I'm fine, but thanks. I'll keep that in mind when I feel bad one day," Tae's voice was wavering and he was obviously in between sleep and a conscious state of mind.
Kookie sighed and sat up, just watching Tae fall asleep.
"Sleep well hyung," Jung ruffled his friend's hair then grabbed a blanket from the foot of the bed and laid it over Tae's body.
