Yoon Gi was standing outside as his four visiting dongsaengs came out of the hotel in a loud, moving cloud of noise.
"Hey," Yoon Gi groaned as they approached him, "Why are you so noisy?"
"Sorry hyung," Jimin laughed as jerked to the side when Ho Seok tired to tickle him again.
"Whatever," Yoon Gi started to walk away from the front doors, "Let's go. Nam Joon's getting the studio set up for you guys."
"Studio?," Tae questioned.
Jung Kook looked up to his love. That was surprisingly the first normal thing Tae had said to Yoon Gi in a while.
"You'll see," Yoon Gi looked over his shoulder and smiled."Jung Kook!," Nam Joon smiled as the youngest of his friends entered the room.
"Hey hyung," Kookie smiled back.
Tae Hyung came up behind the youngest and wrapped his arms around Jung Kook's waist, claiming his territory.
"Hey Tae Hyung," Nam Joon rolled his eyes, but smiled all the same.
"Hi," Tae gave him one of his famous rectangle smiles.
When Jung Kook looked back to his love, he laughed a little then messed with the older's hair, "You're so weird."
"You still sleep with me," Tae shrugged.
Nam Joon started to laugh then motioned for the two of them to follow him, "I got a room for Jung Kook to record something. You can see how you like it."
"Really?!," Jung Kook smiled brighter and looked up to Tae Hyung, excitement growing in the younger's eyes.
"You've got nice hyungs, Kookie," Yoon Gi's voice came from behind them and then Jimin and Hoseok's laughter, "and an even nicer boyfriend."
"What?," Kookie glanced at his laziest hyung then went back to Tae, "You-"
"I asked," Tae nodded, "I mean...you said you wanted to do this for a living so..."
Jung Kook threw his arms around Tae's neck and lightly laughed, "Thanks so, so much."
Tae Hyung hugged him back, "Don't worry about it."
"C'mon," Nam Joon brought the youngest back to reality, "I wrote a few things that I want to hear you sing."
"You write?," Jung Kook turned around, holding Tae's hand now, and followed Nam Joon while dragging Tae Hyung behind him.
"Yeah," the blonde laughed, "A lot and all the time."
"Wait," Ji Min sounded from the back of the group, "Is that what you're always doing when you give us quizzes?"
"Yep," Nam Joon nodded and stopped in front of a door, grabbing the handle.
The rest of the pack could hear music playing already, and they fell silent when the English teacher put a finger to his lips.
The group filled into the room, only for the students to see their school's nurse in the booth.
Tae Hyung looked to Yoon Gi, who was caught staring multiple times already, and dropped his jaw.
Yoon Gi laughed and lightly rolled his eyes. The two of them held a staring contest for a while, then Yoon Gi launched forward and pecked Tae Hyung's lips.
Tae froze. Jung Kook. Did Kookie see?
He snapped his head around to see the younger preoccupied....but Jimin, Ho Seok, and Nam Joon were staring at them.
When Tae looked back, Yoon Gi was gone and the door was slowly closing.
Tae Hyung wanted to run after Yoon Gi. He wanted to ask him what he thought he was doing; wanted to know what the hell was wrong with his ex...who understands what he did wrong so long ago.
But Tae stayed put. He wouldn't leave because he wanted to hear Kookie sing. More than anything, he wanted to see the bright smile that had only recently made a comeback.Yoon Gi wasn't seen nor heard the rest of the day. Nam Joon made up some excuse for him, saying that Suga, as his stage name was, went back to his dorm room to rest.
No one told Jung Kook about the kiss, no matter how small or quick it was. It would still be damaging. Maybe that's what Yoon Gi wanted. Maybe he wanted to see Jung Kook break down and leave Tae Hyung. Maybe he wanted Tae to be misera-
"Tae," Kookie put his arms around his lover's neck, "Are you okay?"
"Yeah," Tae Hyung smiled up at the smaller, "Just thinking."
Kookie sat down in his hyung's lap, "You sure? We can talk about it."
"I was thinking about us," Tae grinned, "I'd love to talk about that."
The older boy put his arm under Kookie's knees and stood up. He walked them over to the bed and dropped Jung to the mattress, his body bouncing a little.
Jung Kook laughed and tried to roll over so he could crawl away, but Tae grabbed his shoulders and kept him in place.
"Tae!," Jung laughed a little harder when his hyung tickled him, "Stop! It's not fair!"
"It is too," Tae Hyung laughed.
"No!," Kookie laughed, bringing his knees up and rolling to his side.
Tae stopped once his love curled into a ball, "Aw, that's no fun," he crawled on to the bed and hovered over the younger as he uncurled.
"It's better this way," Kookie reached up and grabbed the collar of Tae's shirt, "I can keep my eyes open so I can see you," he pulled Tae into a light kiss.
They barely broke apart before Tae went back for more.
He hadn't left a mark on Kookie in a while. Now Jung Kook was surrounded by guys who could do anything to him.
Tae thought of a game. One where they could both have fun.
He broke away from the younger's lips and moved to his neck.
"Tae, no," Kookie tried to push him away, "The hyungs will see."
Tae didn't stop. He wanted them to see it. That was the point. They wouldn't touch his precious little Kookie this way.
"Tae," Kookie managed to control his voice and sound assertive.
The older boy pulled away and looked down, "Yeah?"
"I don't want them to see those. It's embarrassing," the younger went back to pouting, knowing it was Tae Hyung's weakness.
Tae sighed, "How many guys do we hang around with on a daily basis?"
"Huh?"
"How many?," Tae asked again.
Kookie thought for a second, "I don't know. A lot?"
"Exactly. And they don't care that were dating. It'll be easy for them to steal you."
"Tae," Jung Kook laughed, "Why would I trade you for some doofus, who probably won't be as good as you?"
"Because there are people out there who are better than me," Tae countered.
"Not in my eyes," Kookie ran his fingers through Tae's hair.
After that, Tae couldn't come up with anything else to say. He just went back to biting Jung Kook's neck.
"Tae!," the younger exclaimed.
"I want them to see," Tae mumbled.
"Why?!," Kookie pouted.
Tae looked at the reddening spot on his love's neck, "Humans are animals, Kookie. I'm claiming what's mine."
Jung Kook laughed then turned his head to whisper in Tae's ear, "There's a better way to do that."
Tae smirked, "I'm gonna have to stop with the jokes. It's making your thoughts impure."
"Well," Kookie tugged on Tae's shirt, "It is a holiday."
Tae pulled back so he could look the younger in the eyes. He was serious, so Tae leaned in for a kiss.
"Wait," Tae stopped, "Where's Jimin and Ho Seok's room?"
Kookie smiled and pointed to the wall behind the bed.
"Awesome," Tae laughed then kissed the younger.
