Kookie grabbed a towel while Tae undressed himself behind him. The shower water was already running and the sliding door stood open. Kookie didn't care if water got on the floor, he always said it'd dry eventually.
Jung Kook held the towel in his hands and turned around to face Tae. He smiled at his hyung then put his hands on his chest and pushed him backwards. Tae grinned and let himself grab onto Kookie's waist.
He walked back until he was in the shower then Kookie slowly pulled his hands off his hyung's skin.
"Aren't you coming in?," Tae asked with a smile, "The water's warm."
"Nice try," Kookie closed the sliding door and leaned against the wall beside the shower, still holding Tae's towel.
"You know," Jung Kook heard the shampoo bottle open and close, "I don't think it's fair that you get to see me naked and I don't get to see you."
"Maybe another time," Jung let his head hang down and he smiled to himself.
"Are you still tired, Kookie? You can go to bed if you want."
"No, I'm fine," Jung blinked a couple times then remembered how Tae was sitting at his feet when he got up, "Did you sleep at all after this morning?"
"No......but I'm okay. I think I'll make it until tonight."
"Hey, Tae," Kookie wasn't formal when he talked so Tae Hyung knew he was going to be serious.
"Yeah?," he responded as he washed the soap off his body.
"Do you think.....that....we'll...be okay?," the younger had trouble asking this for some reason.
Tae had trouble answering, and it took a while for him to respond. He turned off the shower water and opened the sliding door, "I hope so."
Kookie smiled and put his arms around Tae's waist to wrap the towel around his lower half. Jung never let his eyes wander lower than Tae Hyung's stomach. He had too much respect for his hyung.
"Can we go lay down now?," Tae grabbed the younger's hand and locked their fingers.
"No, you can't go to sleep so early," Jung smiled at him.
"I don't want to sleep," Tae shook his head, "I want you to hold me like you do."
Jung Kook thought for a second then nodded, "Then yeah, we can."
Tae finished dressing and jumped into bed. He moved over next to Kookie and the younger wrapped his arms around his hyung.
Tae put his right arm over Jung Kook's side and started to play with the loose thread on the kid's shirt.
It was quiet for a long time, then Tae breathed in, "Kookie, will you sing for me?"
"Will I sing for you?," Jung smiled, already having a song in mind. Sing For You by Exo.
Tae closed his eyes and waited for Jung's voice to fill his ears and mind. It didn't take long and the kid had started the chorus to the song.
Tae mouthed along with the lyrics, partially because he actually liked that song, and partially because he liked the way Jung Kook sang it.
Tae was laying across Kookie's lap when their bedroom door opened. They both expected his mom to come in and tell them dinner was ready, so they separated a little bit.
Although, it wasn't her, but Jimin, "Hey," Park smiled as he peeked around the door, "Don't move away from each other, it's just me."
"Don't just stand in the doorway all day. Come in!," Kookie waved his hand, motioning for him to enter.
"Oh well," Jimin looked behind him, "I brought someone. Is that okay?"
Tae smiled, knowing perfectly well who it was, but when he looked to Kookie the younger seemed lost, "Yeah it's fine," Tae said.
Jimin opened the door all the way and led his guest into the room. When he stopped, about a foot away from the bed, an older boy stepped up beside him. They were holding hands, so it was a give away to who he was.
"Kookie, Tae, meet Ho Seok," Jimin gestured to the guy beside him, "He's my boyfriend."
"Hi Hobi-hyung," Kookie smiled and waved. Tae put a hand on the youngest's head and lightly ruffled his hair.
"So," Jimin started to nervously play with Ho Seok's fingers, "I heard about your dad, Tae. Are you alright?"
The stranger one of the 95ers looked up to his friend, "Yeah, I'm fine. Kookie took care of me."
"Jung Kook's always taken care of you," Jimin smiled, "So what else is new?"
"He's my boyfriend," Tae tilted his head to the side a little before he smirked.
Jung looked between the two of them and waited for Jimin to shoot a comback at him, but he didn't do anything except look to Ho Seok, "We should go before I say something I regret."
"Awe, hyung," Jung Kook pouted, "You just got here."
"Yeah, but we were just passing by," Jimin shrugged, "Sorry Kookie."
"Where are you guys going?," Tae scratched his head then put his arm around Kookie's waist.
"A gay bar," Ho Seok mumbled.
Ji Min gasped and turned to him, "Don't talk about that stuff! I told you how young Kookie is!"
"He'll learn about it sooner or later," Hobi shrugged, grasping his boyfriend's hand tighter.
"Well, as his hyung, I want to make sure it's later," Jimin shot back.
"What am I not supossed to know about?," Jung Kook laid his head on Tae's shoulder.
"Nothing," Jimin waved it off, "Let's get going Hobi."
"Bye hyung," Kookie waved and Tae gave a small smile.
Jimin looked to Ho Seok, then back at Tae Hyung before he let go of Hobi's hand. He walked over and leaned down, giving Tae a big hug, "I'm glad you're alright, Taehyunggie."
"Thanks Jiminnie," Tae smiled to himself and hugged his friend back.
When they parted Jimin stepped over to Ho Seok, who stood at the door, "Don't text me though. I'm staying with Ho Seok this week."
"In that case, have fun," Tae Hyung smirked.
Jimin almost launched back to make Tae Hyung be quiet, but Ho Seok grabbed his waist and kept him at his side, "Bye guys," the eldest waved.
"Bye," the younger two laughed out simultaneously.
Once the door closed, and Tae was sure Jimin wouldn't come back to dropkick him, the older boy laid across Kookie's lap.
"Hyung," Jung pouted, "You're always laying on me."
"You make me comfortable," Tae stretched out, "No matter where I am, if I can lean on you, I'll be okay."
Jung Kook rolled his eyes. Those words sounded like they were straight from a drama....but still, Kookie couldn't deny that they made him feel loved.
"You always know how to change my....view on situations."
"Maybe it's because my voice is deep and you actually listen to it," Tae smiled.
"Maybe," Kookie started to play with his hyung's hair, "Hey, do you want dye my hair for me?"
"Want to? No. Will I?," Tae Hyung reached up and poked the younger's nose, "Anything for Kookie."
