"Kookie," Tae rolled over and sleepily whispered to his boyfriend, "Kookie, wake up."
"Mm," Jung Kook turned his head to bury his face in his pillow, "No."
"C'mon, Kookie. We can't just quit school," Tae sighed then smiled to himself, "Plus Ji Min will get suspicious if we miss too much."
Kookie lifted his upper body off the mattress then immediately fell back down, "Ow!"
"What?," Tae opened his eyes at the sound of Kookie's pain.
"It hurts," Jung blushed.
Tae lightly laughed and moved over a little to softly kiss the younger, "Sorry."
"Eh," he shrugged, "It was worth it," Kookie smiled and placed his palm against Tae's cheek, "Do you still wanna go today?"
"Yes, we have to," Tae rolled his eyes, "So...want me to carry you?"
"Yes please," Jung Kook cutely laughed.
Tae pulled the blankets off his body and got up to walk around the bed. He reached down and turned Jung Kook's phone on, seeing a solitary text message.
Mom: Don't miss any more school this week. Wait until the weekend...
The rest was cut off because of the sheer length of his mother's written rant.
"Mamma Kookie texted," Tae chuckled as he leaned down to pick up the younger.
"What'd she say?," Jung asked as he put his arms around Tae Hyung's neck.
"Don't miss school," Tae lifted Kookie up, holding him bridal style, "so she agrees with me."
"You two have always thought alike. Maybe not identical, but alike," Kookie rest his forehead against Tae's cheek.
Tae simply smiled as they entered the bathroom, "Think you can stand for a second?"
"I don't know," Kookie kicked his feet a little, "You can put me down anyway though."
Tae smiled and slowly sat Kookie's feet on the floor, although he was still holding himself up with his arms.
"I'm afraid someone will laugh at me today," Jung Kook sighed as Tae moved over to the shower and he felt a slight pain in his hips.
"Well," Tae turned the water on then walked back to Kookie, "If they do, I'll just show them how I made you moan."
"No," Jung blushed and covered his eyes, "Please don't."
"C'mon, babe," Tae lightly laughed. He leaned in and whispered in his boyfriend's ear, "You know I wouldn't share you. I'm too protective of you."
Kookie sighed and took a small step back, feeling a sharp pain shoot through his thighs, "Ow! Tae, it's so painful!"
"I'm sorry baby," Tae put his hands on Jung's sides, then gave him a small smile.
"Hopefully it won't hurt as much next time," Kookie put his hands on Tae's upper arms.
It went quiet between the two of them, "We're wasting water," Tae came back to reality, "Get in," he moved to get them some towels.
Kookie took slow steps over to the shower and he stepped in, joined by Tae soon after.
Since Jung's hair was already wet, Tae Hyung grabbed the shampoo bottle and started to bathe his lover.
"So...Kookie," Tae began to speak again while massaging the shampoo into the younger's hair, "Did you really mean that you want to....do it again?"
Jung Kook wiped the soap from his eyes and looked to his hyung, "Of course I did; I love you."
Tae smiled and pulled Jung Kook closer, "I love you too," he kissed Jung's cheek.
A few hours later, the two of them were ready to go to school.
Kookie had been texting Ji Min almost nonstop since they got out of the shower. That hyung was particularly worried since Jung Kook had barely ever missed a day of school.
Normally the younger would always tell them the day before and also say why.
It seemed that Tae was breaking his normal routines though.
Not everything had it's own, specific place anymore. It just laid wherever it ended up...a lot like their action cards.
"Kookie," Tae reached out and stopped the younger from stepping on to the street, "Pay attention. Jimin can wait a few minutes."
"No it's not Ji Min hyung," Jung Kook shook his head, "I was just remembering last night is all," he smiled up at Tae.
"Well, think about it when we're sitting in class being bored to death," Tae pulled the younger to his side, "Not when you're walking the roads."
"Okay," Jung Kook grinned, noticing the dialect come out in Tae's voice, "And Tae?"
"Yeah?," the older boy kissed the younger's cheek.
"It still hurts," Jung Kook pouted.
Tae smiled, "I'm sorry, baby. I'll make it up to you."
"How?," Kookie shrugged and walked with Tae as the flow of traffic stopped to let them go.
"How does ice cream sound?," Tae placed his hand softly on Kookie's waist.
"Sounds sweet," Jung nodded and smiled.
"I'll buy you some at lunch then," Tae smiled down to him as they reached the other side of the street.
"Okay, thank you," Jung Kook looked down and blushed.
"Kim Tae Hyung!," Jimin shouted as he ran over to them.
"Hey hyung," Kookie barely got his words out when Ji Min pulled the younger behind him.
"Hey!," Tae reached for Kookie, but Ji Min stopped him, "C'mon Jiminnie. Give me back my Kookie."
"No," Park turned around and smiled at Jung Kook, "Are you okay? Are you hurt?"
"Well, actually-"
"Tae Hyung," Ji Min spun around again, "I'm gonna get you!"
He launched forward, but suddenly a pair of arms wrapped around his waist.
"Ji Min," Ho Seok pulled his boyfriend to his chest and spoke in a low voice, "You didn't let Jung Kook finish."
"I know," Jimin blushed and shifted uncomfortably in Ho Seok's tight grip. He was afraid Tae would laugh at him for being all lovey with Hobi.
"Jung Kook, what were you going to say?," Hobi turned his head to look at the youngest of them.
"Well," he stepped back to Tae and grabbed his hand, "We were moving so much stuff around yesterday. My legs hurt now."
Tae stuck his tongue out at Ji Min, who just shrugged it off.
Ho Seok put his hand on Jimin's stomach, urging him to speak.
Park sighed and crossed his arms, "If that's all...I guess I don't have to kill you, Tae."
"That's better," Hobi smiled then then looked up to Jung Kook, "Kookie, Nam Joon was looking for you. He said he would give you your guys' work from yesterday."
"Okay," Jung Kook turned to Tae, "You can get our stuff right?"
"Yeah," Tae smiled then Kookie gave him a small kiss before walking towards their classroom.
"Ho Seok!," someone shouted for Jimin's boyfriend, "We need your help!"
"With what?," he shouted back. He gave Ji Min a small peck on the cheek before moving over to a group of people.
"So," Ji Min sighed, "Did he actually want to?"
"Yes, he wanted to. You know I wouldn't force him," Tae and Jimin started to walk to their lockers.
"I guess it was good because he doesn't seem to regret it," Park leaned against the lockers as Tae put his combination into his own.
"I didn't think to ask," he opened the door, "Thanks for the confidence booster."
"I didn't mean it that way," Jimin sighed, "It's just...he's so young. He has big dreams too."
"I know, but I made sure," Tae closed the locker door and zipped up his bag, "It's okay."
Suddenly a smirk appeared on Jimin's lips, "Well, your sessions might be okay, but mine are probably a lot better."
"Oh please," Tae rolled his eyes, "At least I top."
Jimin fell silent as Tae walked away with that. Then he made his way towards Hoseok.
Oh well, he didn't care. Hobi said he loves him, so he's happy.
Tae laid Jung Kook's stuff on his desk then sat in his own seat, waiting for Kookie to get there.
Jimin came in, giving Ho Seok a kiss before the older left.
"Where's Kookie?," Jimin asked as he walked over.
"I don't-"
"Tae, hyung," Kookie came rushing into the room with a huge smile on his face.
"Kookie, where were you?," Jimin laid his bag in the floor next to his desk.
"Okay, so, I went to get our work from Nam Joon hyung, and he was in the Nurses office. Alright, so when I went in he was there...with Jin hyung."
"And?," Tae pulled the younger into his lap.
Jimin seemed to understand, so Kookie just whispered into Tae's ear, "They were starting something similar to what we did last night."
"Oh," he laughed out, "Well, we need to congratulate hyung when we see him today."
"No, don't," Kookie held up his hands, "If you do, they'll realize I caught them."
"Okay, but it'll still be worth it...just to see the look on his face."
"No," Jung Kook shook his head, "If you do, I'll make you wait even longer."
Tae looked to Jimin, who was just smiling, "Aish Kookie. Fine."
A wave of students came into the room as the warning bell rang, so Kookie stood up and Jimin went to sit in his seat.
On the walk back to their house, Kookie was humming a song. Tae just shut up and listened to him.
When they were halfway home, Jung Kook had hummed about three songs and was starting to get bored with it. With this realization, Kookie started to sing.
Tae still listened to him, sometimes throwing his own voice in on the lyrics he really liked.
Jung Kook grabbed Tae's hand once he finished the last line of a song, then lightly laughed, "Tae~! You're a really good singer. Why don't you want to do anything with it?"
"I don't know what I want to do," Tae Hyung shrugged and looked around them, "But I know I want you and Ji Min to be with me."
"Well, hyung said he wants to be a dancer. Plus, he's not opposed to singing either," Kookie nudged his boyfriend, "And Yoon Gi hyung texted me during math today."
"What did he say?," Tae asked before Jung could tell him.
"He said that his company, Big Hit Entertainment, is looking for more people. Apparently, Nam Joon hyung's group didn't really work out and they need to replace some members."
"How many is some?"
"All of them but hyung," Kookie looked to the sidewalk, "I don't know why. I didn't ask."
"Hm," Tae nodded, "Well...I'll think about it."
"Seriously?," Kookie looked up, a small smile on his lips, "but wait. You have to promise me you won't do it just for me."
"I won't, I promise," Tae nodded, keeping back his thought. He knew that it wasn't a guarantee that Jung Kook would get accepted, but who was he to crush the kid's dreams?
"At the first sign of something you won't like, I want you to leave," Jung clarified, just to make sure Tae understood where he was coming from.
"Okay," Tae Hyung smiled and brought Kookie's hand to his lips then kissed the back of it.
