After packing a small bag and inviting Jimin and Hoseok, Tae and Jung Kook hopped in the truck and started towards Jimin's.
"Do you think Hobi-hyung spends every weekend with hyung?," Kookie glanced out the window then went back to looking through the songs on Tae's phone.
"I don't know. He's probably gotten used to Ho Seok so he doesn't limp anymore. There's no way to tell."
Tae Hyung glanced over to see Jung Kook smiling, but shaking his head all the same.
"Aw c'mon, Kookie. That was funny."
"It was not," the younger sat his love's phone down.
"Yes it was."
"Nuh uh," Kookie shook his head and looked out the window.
It was silent for a little bit then Kookie sighed, "It was a little funny."
"I know."
"Just a little."
Tae laughed and reached over to grab the younger's hand.
Jung Kook looked over to Tae Hyung, then down to their hands and smiled. This was a lot better. No more tears.

"Kookie!," Jimin hugged the younger as he, almost literally, flew out of his front door.
"Hyung!," Jung Kook used the same tone as Ji Min.
"Don't mock me! I haven't seen you in forever!"
"That's my fault," Tae approached his friends with his arms up for defense.
Surprisingly, Jimin didn't playfully hit him. He hugged him, "Well, I still missed you guys."
"I'm sure Hobi-hyung was good company," Jung Kook continued into the house so he could say hello to Jimin's mom.
"Tae," Jimin lightly hit his friend's back, "Where did he learn that from?"
"I've been making jokes," Tae pulled away from the hug when Ho Seok came out of the house.
"Hey Tae Hyung," Ho Seok put his arm around Jimin as he stopped next to the shorter male, "How've you guys been doing?"
"Uh...we're good, actually. We figured a lot of stuff out and...yeah," Tae smiled when Kookie stepped out of the house with Jimin's mother clinging to his waist.
"Park Ji Min!," the woman called to him, "You didn't tell me my kids were coming."
"I knew you wouldn't let us leave, momma," Jimin sighed and looked over his shoulder at her.
Her and Jung Kook each held a bag in their free hands, which Tae assumed was the stuff Hoseok and Jimin were taking with them.
"Tae Hyung," Jimin's mother walked over to him and hugged him, "It's been four months since I saw you last. How are you?"
"Great," Tae hugged her back.
They didn't get to see Jimin's mom a lot because of how much she worked, but when she was home, she was everyone's mother.
"Ho Seok's practically been living here, so I gained another son," she pulled away and looked back to Hobi.
"Every child on the entire block is yours, momma," Jimin sighed and started to throw his and Hoseok's stuff into the truck.
"Not true," she defended herself, "I only mother those who let me."
"Whatever momma," Jimin pecked her cheek, "We gotta go."
"Okay," she crossed her arms, "Be safe and hurry back. You only have three days off."
"Okay," Tae Hyung gave her one last hug before they got into the truck. Who knows when he'd get to see her again.

Ho Seok and Jimin were in the back seat, the younger laying across his boyfriend's lap as they slept.
It'd already gotten dark since they'd been on the road for at least eight hours.
Tae was the only one allowed to drive or else he'd sleep while someone else drove for a little while.
Ho Seok's parents didn't want him to drive yet, so he doesn't have his license.
Kookie stayed up though, making sure Tae was alright.
He knew how his hyung was. He'd push himself a little too much sometimes.
"Hey, look on the bright side," Tae started to break the silence, "Not a lot of people are driving around at this time of night."
"I guess we're the idiots that are," Kookie smiled and reached over for Tae's right hand.
"Yeah," the older lightly laughed and glanced at Jung Kook, "Woah," he took a double take, "You look seriously tired."
"I'm fine," Kookie assured him, "Besides, if I stay up, we can crash at the same time."
Tae shook his head but still smiled, "You think weird."
"Says you," Jimin mumbled from the back seat.
Kookie looked back to see his hyung barely awake, "Sleep Park Ji Min," Tae playfully threatened him.
"Get a room," Jimin rolled to his side, making Ho Seok stir in his sleep.
"Get out of my truck," Tae Hyung shot back.
After a quiet pause Ji Min yawned, "Good night."
Kookie laughed at the two of them. He liked their little sideshow act.

Finally, they arrived at their hotel. It was close to Yoon Gi's company, so the hyung-to-everyone said he'd meet up with them after work.
Tae and Kookie had a separate room from Jimin and Hoseok, so they went to go lay down while the other two started looking around Seoul.
"Hey," Tae yawned as soon as he got comfortable, "Yoon Gi said that Seoul's night life is pretty cool."
"Guess we'll get to see it," Jung rolled to his side and got comfortable as well.
"Yeah," Tae smiled and closed his eyes, slowly falling asleep.
"Sleep well, Tae," Jung Kook placed his palm on his hyung's cheek.
Tae covered the younger's hand with his own and lightly squeezed before he slipped into sleep.

Kookie's singing again, Tae Hyung smiled to himself as he came into reality. Jung Kook's voice filled the hotel room, calming Tae's mind and helping him relax.
Jung Kook was okay. He was singing. Everything would be fine now.
The older boy rolled over in the bed and opened his eyes.
"Tae!," Jung stopped singing and jumped on to the bed, laying across his hyung, "You're awake!"
"Yeah," Tae Hyung smiled and played with the younger's bangs, "How long have have you been up?"
"Uh...half hour maybe," Jung Kook smiled.
"Has Yoon Gi stopped by yet?," Tae tapped the younger's nose and lightly chuckled at the face Kookie made.
"No, not yet. He should be here soon though."
"Jimin and Hobi hyung come back?"
"They left a note. They came while we were still sleeping," Jung Kook pushed himself up and he sat on his knees.
"Well," Tae sat up too, "Happy Lunar New Year, Kookie."
Tae leaned forward and captured his love's lips in a soft kiss. Kookie let his hand come up and rest on Tae Hyung's shoulder.
For a minute, nothing else mattered to them. They were encased in their own little magic bubble of solitude. It was nice to escape everything.
Suddenly, a voice interrupted them...Park Ji Min's voice.
"Tae! Kookie!," he strode into the room then paused, "Woah," he started to laugh.
Kookie broke away and looked over at the window with a blush on his cheeks.
Tae glared at his friend, trying to remember how fast Jimin could run, "Park Ji Min," he used a threatening tone.
"Wait, wait," Jimin held his hands up as his laughter started to die out, "Before you kill me, I'm supposed to tell you that Min-hyung's on his way."
"Just call him Yoon Gi," Tae sighed and grabbed Jung Kook's hand.
"Sorry, but not all of us made out with him," Ji Min teased, then felt a pair of arms snake around his waist.
"That's a good thing too," Ho Seok let his chin rest on Jimin's head.
"Get ready, Kookie," Ji Min whined, "I promised your momma that I'd take care of you while we're out here."
"Why didn't she ask me?," Tae pouted as Jung Kook hopped off the bed.
"Tae, she loves you like a son, but," Kookie sighed, "You aren't the most grown-up person we know."
"Still, you've lived with me for three months and you aren't dead yet," Tae pulled the blankets off his legs and stood up.
"We're just gonna," Jimin and Ho Seok started to leave the room, the younger pointing towards the door.
Tae nodded, a small smile on his lips.
When those two left, Tae Hyung looked over and saw Kookie on his phone.
The younger was distracted so, despite standing in front of a giant mirror, he wouldn't notice Tae coming.
The older boy snuck up and grabbed Kookie's arm before spinning him around. He captured his lips once again and pulled his love close.
Jimin wasn't going to ruin this one. Nothing could, it was too perfect.
