"Tae, stop!," Kookie laughed and swatted his hyung's hands away, "We're about to film again."
"Sorry, Kookie," Tae pinched the younger's side playfully, "You're too cute, cutie."
"Don't call me cute," Jung Kook sighed and leaned into the older's chest, "I'm a grownup now."
"No, you've just graduated. Jiminnie and I are grownups."
"What?," Jimin hit the back of his friend's head with a magazine then sat down in front of the two of them.
Jung Kook lightly laughed, which Tae Hyung responded to with a bite to the younger's neck.
"Hey," their manager stopped him from making a bruise after his stern tone swept through the room.
"Right," Tae sighed, "Nothing Jiminnie. Kookie thinks he's a grownup."
"You're only nineteen," Ji Min smiled.
"I'm almost twenty," the youngest pouted and started to play with Tae's fingers.
"But you aren't yet," Tae laid his chin on Kookie's shoulder, "Which is why I have to bother you now before it's too late."
"Too late for what? He'll just be a year older," Ji Min was starting to question his friends' sanity.
"I can't say," Tae smiled, "It's a surprise still."
"It better not be what I think it is," Jin walked in, shooting a glare at Tae Hyung, "I know your dirty mind."
"It's not that," Tae rolled his eyes, "Not everything has to be about sex, hyung."
"I know," Jin shrugged, "It's just a warning."
"Not like it'll be anything new," Kookie mumbled. Tae laughed at his words, making Kookie smile.
"What Kookie?," Jin leaned on the back of the sofa they were sat on.
"It doesn't matter," Nam Joon grabbed his fiancé's hand and pulled him away from the youngest kids.
"Aw," Jimin started to pout, "When's Hobi coming back?"
"In a few minutes," Nam Joon answered.
Ji Min puffed up his cheeks and slouched over, "It's not fair, but I'm proud of him."
"He deserves his own performance," Kookie nodded, "Hyung's been working extra hard lately."
The door to their dressing room opened and Ho Seok stepped in.
Ji Min shot up and hugged him, despite him being a sweating mess. Park really didn't care.
"Hey," Hobi put his arm around the younger, "Where's Suga hyung? Someone's looking for him."
"Sleeping," Jin replied, "Who's looking for him?"
"Someone named Hyunnie, or at least that's what he said."
Yoon Gi passed the crowd at the mention of the name, pulling his jacket over his arms as he went.
When the door closed, they all ran over to listen.
Hey, a small voice came through, how's everything going?
Great, Yoon Gi answered, a lot's changed, but it's for the better.
"Who is that?," Jimin whispered.
"Shh," Nam Joon tapped the younger's head.
I really miss seeing you, the small voice got quieter.
Yoon Gi fell silent after that.
"He's never been good with feelings," Tae sighed. C'mon hyung, he thought, just say what you're thinking.
Tae Hyung felt Jung Kook's hand slip into his and the younger pulled his love away from the door.
Kookie wrapped his arms around his hyung's neck and rest his chin on Tae's shoulder. He closed his eyes and exhaled, feeling Tae Hyung's arms wrap around his body.
Eh...We don't need to know about Yoon Gi's love life yet.
"We'll just tease him when it's official," Tae whispered into the younger's ear.
"Okay," Jung Kook smiled.
From the hallway, the six inside the dressing room heard an event organizer yell, "BTS, you're on in two minutes!"
The youngest two broke apart and watched their hyungs and Ji Min at the door.
When Yoon Gi opened it, Nam Joon and Jin fell down, most likely due to their slow reflexes.
"Seriously?," Yoon Gi laughed at the two of them.
"Yeah," all six answered.
The laziest member stepped inside and grabbed his mic off the table.
They got there early and received the ones that were hands free.
"You guys ready?," Rap Monster asked them all after composing himself.
"Yes," Jung Kook grabbed Tae's hand, helping himself relax.
"Then let's do this," Nam Joon smiled at all of them.
"Bangtan forever!," Tae Hyung threw his hands up, bringing Kookie's right hand with him.
"BTS one minute!," the organizer called again.
The seven of them filed out of the room, Tae and Kookie at the back of the line.
Tae leaned forward and whispered, "You're gonna be great so relax."
"Okay," Jung Kook exhaled and let go of Tae's hand.
Their future lived on the stage in front of them, and they would be together for all of it, no matter what happened.
Tae was no longer anonymous from year two, he was Jung Kook's love, so he knew that they'd overcome obstacles far greater than what they'd been through. And he was ready for it. He'd face the end of the world as long as Jung Kook and his friends were at his side.
