Evelyn's pov
*another month later*
Time goes by so slow when you're pregnant. Like seriously, I'm now two months pregnant and it feels like just yesterday that I found out and told Liam. It's been a boring month as well. I've done nothing fun. Liam is so protective. Everything I want to do, he does for me, because he thinks I'll get hurt or the baby gets hurt. So, what I do all day is sitting and eating. Liam doesn't let me do anything else. So, I get bored.
Right now, I'm sitting on the couch. Liam and Karen are doing groceries. I was to tired to come along and Liam probably wouldn't have let me anyway. I'm watching some TV. My phone starts buzzing. I see that I have a text. I frown when I see that it's an unknown number.
Come on, Eve. You can't stay afraid of unknown numbers. Maybe one of the girls or boys have a new phone number. I open the text and immediately regret it.
Hello Evelyn,
You thought I was gone right ? Well, I'm not. You're going to pay for putting me in jail. It was awfull in there. Anyway, my plan. I think I might kill your precious baby in your belly. Cassie and you have something in common then, something you girls can talk about. How does that sound ? I see you soon.

I look at the text with my eyes wide. I lock my phone and don't know where to look. I see black spots all over. I can't get enough oxygen. I start to get a panick attack. I try to get up and walk upstairs to my bed, but I can't see anything anymore, with all the black spots in my eyes. Before I know it, I fall down and everything turns black.
Liam's pov
After a goddamn full on hour shopping with my mum, we finally arrive home. I used to not mind shopping for an hour, but knowing Eve is home alone, makes me hate those hours. I quickly walk in and to the living room. But the couch is empty, except for Eve's phone. I frown.
"LIAM" my mum yells. I quickly make my way to the stairs and see Eve laying in front of it. My mum's eyes are wide. I quickly pick Eve up and take her to the couch and lay her down. My mum grabs some water for her and we wait till she wakes up. I grab her phone and place it on the table. I don't want to check it, but I have a feeling something happened. But I'm going to wait until she tells me what was wrong.
I see her eyes slowly open. She looks at me and sighs in relief.
"What happened, Eve?" I ask.
"I got a panick attack. Check my phone" she mumbles. I grab her phone and unlock it. I see an open text and read it. Anger starts to boil inside me.
"DAMNIT" I yell. My mum looks up, looking worried. I throw the phone at her and her eyes widen. I look at Eve.
"I'm not going to let her touch you or our baby" I tell her. She sighs.
"I think Mason and Cassie thought that as well, but she got to them" Eve says.
"But at that point, Danielle wasn't a wanted person" I say. Eve just looks away. I hand her the glass of water and she thanks me. The doorbell rings and my mum goes to open the door.
"I'll be alright, Eve" She doesn't say anything.
"Hello, you are Evelyn and Liam right?" someone says. I turn around and see a tall man. I nod.
"I am sorry to say that Danielle escaped prison last night" he says. I look at Eve.
"We knew" she says. The man looks confused.
"Evelyn got a text from Danielle this morning" I say. The man nods and wants to read the text, so my mum hands him the phone. I grab Eve's hand and she squeezes it. I hate knowing she is affraid. I hate that I can't do much except protect her.
"Well, I hope you know we will do anything to make sure Danielle doesn't get to you. If there is something you need and want to ask, you can call me" the man says and hands his card to my mum and me. I nod and shake his hand. He walks away and my mum lets him out. I sigh and look back at Eve.
"Isn't that doctor's appointment today?" I ask her. She sighs and nod.
"Let's get you ready, babe" I take her upstairs and help her get ready.
"Liam?" I turn around and look at Eve.
"What do you want it to be?" she asks me. I know she's talking about the baby. A girl or a boy? I'm not even sure. I'd love a boy, because I'm one, but I also love a girl.
"I'm not sure, I guess I don't mind which it'll be. What about you?" I ask her.
"I think a boy, so I know he won't be in the same position I am in right now, but I guess that I won't mind a girl" she says.
"Babe, our little girl won't be in this position. We just don't have that much luck, but I promise you, I'll protect my baby girl with everything I have" I say. Eve smiles and kisses me softly.
"Now, let's find out" I take her hand.
Eve is looking nervous. We're sitting in the waiting room at the doctors. She is moving her leg up and down like a mad man. I put my hand on her knee, making her stop moving it.
"Relax babe" I say. She just nods and looks around. I think she's also like this because Danielle might be here. But I'm here and Danielle won't get to her.
"Evelyn?" I look up and Eve stands up. I walk with her and we walk into the room. The doctor tells some stuff and Eve does everything the doctor says. Not a minute later, we see a baby on the screen. I feel myself smile like crazy. I feel some tears forming in my eyes. I look at Eve and she is in the same state as me.
"I heard you want to know the sex of the baby" the doctor says, more asks to be sure. Eve nods her head.
"It's a boy" she says. Eve looks at me with a smile on her face. I smile back at her. We're having a baby boy.
20 minutes later, we're walking to the car with pictures.
"I can't wait to show your mum. Oh and the girls and boys" Eve says. She changed so much today. She's bubbly again, not afraid of anything. But I guess she was afraid for a reason. And that reason is right her, right now. I hear a loud bang and people screaming. I look beside me and see Eve falling down. I quickly catch her, before she can fall hard. I lay her down and look around. I see someone running away, who I know is Danielle. I look down at Eve. She has her eyes closed.
"DON'T YOU DARE GIVE UP ON ME EVE" I yell. I yell at some stranger to call 911. I look down to Eve's belly and I see blood everywhere.
This can't be happening.
