Dark Liam {Liam Payne}

Chapter Three

Evelyn's Pov

I wake up and get ready for school. I don't wanna go, I still have a headache. I was planning on calling school, but then I got 2 texts. 

From : Eleaanorr

Babeee,, I heard what happened yesterday ! Are you okay ? I feel so bad for you :( xxxx <3

From : Liam

Good morning, should I pick you up ? xx Liam

I smile at both texts. I decide to just go, I mean, school goes by quickly. 

To : Eleaanorr

I'm finee (: I was saved luckily ,, I see you in an hour ! xx <3 

To : Liam

That would be really nice, thank you. See you in 40 minutes ? xx Evelyn

I start to get dressed. I put on skinny jeans with a blue-ish tank top. I put on baby blue heels with it and put my hair in a bun. I apply some make-up and get downstairs. 

Just when I'm completely done with everything, the doorbell rings. I quickly grab my bag and my phone and unlock the door. When I open it, Liam is standing there, with a smile on his face. Before I could say anything, Liam grabs my back with books and walks with it to his car. I close the door and lock it and walk over to his car. I get in and he drives away. 

"Good morning" he says then. I smile. 

"Good morning Liam" I say back. He drives a bit fast. 

"How are you feeling?" he asks me. 

"Yea fine" I say. He looks over at me and raises his eyebrow. 

"I'm fine, I swear, just watch the road !" he chuckles and turns back to the front window. 

We arrive at school just a few minutes later. He gets out of the car and I see everyone who is at the parkinglot turn their head to him. When they see him walking to the other side of the car, everyone frowns and keep their eyes locked on him, wanting to know who is in the car. I grab my bag and want to get out, just before he opens the door for me. Everyone starts whispering when they see me. I look around and then look down, embarrassed. Liam stands in front of me. 

"What's wrong?" he asks me. 

"Everyone is staring and whispering" I say in almost a whisper. Liam puts a finger under my chin and makes me look at him. 

"They have nothing to talk about, and just let them look, they're just looking cause they jealous of your looks" he says. Butterflies explode in my stomach. I look at him and our eyes lock. Just then, someone walks up to us. It's Niall. 

"Hey dude, who's this?" he asks. Liam looks from Niall back to me. 

"This is Evelyn. Evelyn, this is Niall" Niall doesn't look as badboy-ish as he looks like when he walks down the hall. We shake hands. 

"Are you two dating ?" I look at Liam and he looks back, with a smirk on his face. 

"No, just good friends" Liam says. I wish I wouldn't feel as disappointed, but it's the truth, we are just friends. Niall nods. 

"You wanna join us with lunch later?" Niall asks. 

"I think I'm gonna sit with my other friends, but thanks for asking" Niall nods again. 

"We gotta go to class, see you later Evelyn" Liam says. I smile and then Niall and him walk away. I still feel people looking at me. 

"EVE!" I hear behind me. I turn around to see Eleanor running up to me. She immediately hugs me. 

"I can't believe some idiot pushed you and you hit your head and you had to go the nurses and - wait why is everyone staring?" she goes on. 

"Because I was just talking to Liam and Niall so yea I guess that's why" Eleanor raises her eyebrow. 

"Liam Payne and Niall Horan?" she asks. I nod. We turn and walk towards our lockers. 

"Why would you talk to them?" she asks. 

"Because Liam took me to school and Niall came up to us" 

"And why did Liam Payne take you to school?" 

"Because he texted me to ask so I didn't have to walk" 

"And why did Liam Payne have your number?" 

"Because I gave it yesterday when he brought me home" 

"And why did Liam Payne bring you home?" Eleanor is frowning and she is starting to annoy me. 

"Because Liam Payne saved me yesterday and he was the one that brought me to the nurses" I say and open my locker. 

"He is bad Eve" she says. 

"He is not, he isn't when he's with me" I say. She rolls her eyes. 

"I first thought it was Liam that pushed you as he pushed someone else against the lockers as well" 

"That was the idiot that pushed me. He was close to me when it happened" Eleanor nods slowly. 

"I still don't trust him and I love you so I'm just warning you" I just nod, not wanting a discussion with her. We then walk to our class. 

It finally was lunch time. Eleanor, Amber and I walked to our table together. The boys were already there. 

"I'm so excited for the weekend. I hate school" Amber says with a frown on her face. Harry puts an am around her. 

"It'll be okay babe" he says and kisses her. I smile at them. Harry always takes care of her. Louis and Eleanor are talking about something and I talk with Harry and Amber. Zayn and Perrie are both sick. 

"Hey" I hear a voice say. I turn around and see Liam and Niall, both with lunch in their hands. Harry, Amber, Eleanor and Louis all look up as well. I smile. 

"Hey" 

"Can we sit here?" I don't even ask the others, I just nod. They both grab a chair and sit down next to me. Eleanor and Louis go on with their conversation and Amber and Harry just talk with each other as well. 

"Do you have anything to do after school?" Liam asks me. I shake my head. 

"Cool, I'll wait at your locker then" he says.
