Dark Liam {Liam Payne}

Chapter Seven

Evelyn's Pov

After school, I'm at my locker, talking to Amber. 
"You know, I'm happy for you, that you found someone" she says. I smile at her. She reacted way better than Eleanor did. 
"I just hope he turns out the way you want to and not how Eleanor sees him" she says. 
"Me too. I've just already spent enough time with him to know he isn't like other boys, but he also is like other boys. I don't know if that made sence" I say while closing my locker. 
"I understand you. I just wanna let you know that I'm not gonna act like El, and just act normal" she says with a smile. 
"Thank you, means a lot babe" I hug her. When we pull away, I feel someone slap my bum. I turn around, mad. I see some boy that I don't know. 
"I heard you're with Liam Payne" he says. I don't say anything, just look at him. 
"I just wanna warn you, he hasn't the best of friends" 
"I don't care what you say" I simply says. 
"Relax babe, you'll figure it all out at some point. Oh, and you look smoking" he says and walks away. 
"Creep" I hear Amber mumble. 
"Who is a creep?" I turn around and see Harry, with his arms around Amber. 
"Just some guy who talked to Eve" Amber says to him. 
"Who ? Liam Payne?" 
"Stop saying he is a creep!" I yell and walk away. 
Why does everyone has to say Liam is not a good guy, or a creep. They don't know him. I do. 

I start walking towards my house when a car stops next to me. My smile widens when I realize it's Liam. 
"Hello babe, do you want a lift?" I nod and jump in his car. 
"How was your day?" he asks. 
"It was alright, it just ended like crap" I say. 
"Why? What happened?" 
"Well first I was talking to Amber, when some guy came up to me. He said that I'll figure you out and realize what kind of guy you were, which made me mad. And then Amber said he was a creep and then Harry came and said who is and then said that he thought we were talking about you which made me even more mad and then I walked away" I ramble. 
"Who was the guy that came up to you?" 
"I don't know" 
"What did he look like?" 
"He was tall, had brown hair, brown eyes. He had this spot on his left cheek I guess" 
"Did he do something to you?" he asks. I am not sure if I should tell him. But the look Liam has on his face tells me he wants to really know. 
"He uhm, first slapped my bum and then said I looked smoking" I mumble. Liam's expression turns completely furious. 
"Li, relax, he is just some stupid boy" I say. Liam stops the car. 
"He hates me Eve, he will do anything to ruin my life. I want you to stay away from him" Liam says and turns towards me. He seriously looks really mad. 
"That won't be a problem, he is a creep" I say. Liam nods. 
"We're here by the way" I look out of the window and see my house. And to my shock, my parents' car is in the driveway. 
"Hey, do you wanna meet my parents?" I ask Liam. He nods and finally smiles again. We get out of his car and walk to my front door. Before I can open the door, Liam turns me towards him and kisses me. 
"Didn't do that yet" he says. I smile and now open the door. We both take off our shoes and I take Liam's hand, walking towards the living room. My parents are sitting on the couch, watching some TV. 
"Hi" I say. They both turn to us and smile. They walk up to me and hug me. 
"We missed you sweetie" they say. I know this is all an act, because someone is with us. 
"And who is this?" my mum asks. 
"This is Liam, Liam, this are my parents" Liam smiles and shake their hands. 
 "It's nice to meet you both" Liam says, all polite. 
"It's nice to meet you too Liam. Are you staying for dinner?" my mum asks. 
"Well, actually, my mum asked if Evelyn could eat dinner at ours, as she is alone and thought she'd cook a nice meal" Liam says. I nod and smile. 
"Yea sure" I say. 
"Maybe I could stay for dinner tomorrow night?" Liam asks my mum. She nods. 
"Yes, I am free tomorrow so I can cook a nice meal for us" my mum says. Liam smiles and thanks her. 
"I'm just gonna change then" I say. 
"Sure, I'll wait here love" Liam says and sits with my parents. I just pray they don't do or say something stupid. 

I decide on a baby blue dress till my knees, without sleeves or anything. I wear a brown, small belt around my waist. I just put on some brown sandals with that. I quickly brushed my hair and put it in a nice ponytail. I grab my phone and walk downstairs again. I hear my dad and Liam talking, my mum sometimes laughing. Oh god. 
"I walk into the livingroom. Liam sees me and stands up, smiling. 
"You look beautiful" he says. 
"Thank you. Let's go?" he nods and shakes my parents' hands again. 
"I'll see you tomorrow" he says. My parents nod and say bye to us. We walk to his car. 
"You really look gorgeous babe" Liam says when we sit. 
"Thank you" I say again with a smile. 

We walk into Liam's house and it smells amazing. I walk towards the kitchen and see Karen. 
"Oh hi dear, you look beautiful" Karen says. I hug her and thank her as well. Liam and I prepare the table for dinner. 
"Thank you kids, are you hungry?" Liam and I both nod and sit down. Karen puts the food on the table. 
"It looks and smells amazing Karen" I say and she smiles. 
"Thank you love" We eat and talk a bit about the day. 
"I'm gonna eat at Eve's tomorrow mum" Liam says. Karen nods. I know she's alone, so she must not be really happy about it. I look at Liam and he looks worried as well, as Karen's smile is gone. 
"Mum, if you don't want me to, you can just tell me" Liam says. Karen looks up and shakes her head. 
"No no, have a great night tomorrow, it's okay" she says. I look at Liam again. 
"I can ask my parents if they can just make a bit more so you can come along as well" I suggest. 
"It's okay love, it really is"
"You've done a lot for me these past days, you deserve to get something back as well, so just come along with Liam tomorrow and we'll have a great night together" I say. Liam smiles at me, while Karen does too. 
"Okay fine" she says. I smile and text my parents.
