Dark Liam {Liam Payne}

Chapter Twenty - Eight

Evelyn's pov

It's been three weeks since I woke up. Three weeks since I lost my baby and three weeks since Danielle shot me. And three weeks since I realised Danielle is going to pay for everything. I haven't told Liam about my plan, or atleast, my ideas. I don't think he will approve of what I'm thinking about. But, Liam can't tell me what to do, it's my life and I need to do what I want to do.

"Eve?" I look up and see Karen walking in. I smile at her. 

"You can go home" she says. I nod slowly. Home. I live with Liam and Karen, but to be honest, what is home for me now ? Because Liam is my boyfriend and I don't think that I can call his house my home. 

I realise Karen is looking at me and I smile. 

"Liam is coming, he was talking to the doctors" I nod again. I don't really feel like talking. Karen sighs and grabs a bag for me and slowly starts putting my stuff in there. I can't really do anything. The doctors need to clear me so that I can get out bed. Right then, Liam walks in with a doctor. Liam walks over to me and kisses my forehead softly. 

"Well, I'm sure mrs Payne already told you, but you can get out of this bed and home with them" the doctor says. I nod and push the covers off of me. I sit on the edge and look for my shoes. Liam comes walking up to me with my Uggs in his hands. He puts them on for me and grabs my hand, to help me up. It goes smoothly and I'm standing in the room. Karen zips the bag up and looks ready. I grab my phone and walk out of the room with Liam and Karen, while wearing my pyjama's. I don't care, though. I just want to get out of this hospital. I don't think I'll ever go to the hospital with the same feeling. I'll always think back to this. To losing my baby. 

"Liam?" I softly say. Liam looks at me. 

"Where is Danielle?" I ask. Liam frowns and looks at his mum, who looks confused.

"I don't know where she is, babe" he mumbles.

"So, she can be outside, waiting for me to come and kill me this time" I say. Liam frowns again. 

"Please, don't say that" he says. I just look at him, blankly. 

"She won't hurt you" he says, before walking to the car. 

Liam's pov

I watch her sleeping in our bed. I hate seeing her like this. She isn't the same anymore. She's different. She's quiet, she's not happy. It's like she's constantly thinking of something that doesn't look good. I hate not knowing what's going on in her head.

"Liam ? I think you should try talking to her soon. She doesn't seem herself and I have a feeling that if she doesn't change back, we might lose her forever like that" my mum says. I just nod and take my attention back to Eve. 

"Liam, you need to do something. Maybe take her on a vacation" mum says. That brings me to an idea. I smile at her and run to my laptop. I immediately start looking up flight tickets and hotels.

2 hours later, I've sorted everything and I have everything. Just then, Eve walks into the living room. She frowns. 

"What are you doing?" she asks. I smile.

"Sit down, please" I say. She does so and I grab everything and walk over to her. 

"So, I booked us a nice vacation to Hawaii!" I say. Eve doesn't smile. In fact, her face just turns angrier, which makes me frown.

"A vacation ? I don't need a vacation right now!" she yells. 

"Excuse me?" 

"I don't need a vacation now, Liam! How could you think of happy things right now?" she asks. She looks angry. I've never seen her like this. 

"I thought it would be nice to get away. Just the two of us. I thought it was exactly what you needed" I say, trying to keep myself calm. 

"And you didn't bother asking me first?!" Eve yells.

"It's was supposed to be a surprise ! I put all of my savings into this, Eve!" 

"I didn't ask for that ! I don't need that!" she yells, once again. 

"Then what do you need?!" I yell back.

"I need Danielle dead!" she yells. My eyes widen and I see her expression changing as well. Her mouth slowly opens a bit and her eyes grow wide, realizing what she just said.

"Excuse me?" she sighs and sits down.

"She needs to pay, Liam" 

"Killing her is not the answer! She'll win, with you in prison!" I yell. I can't believe she can be that selfish. 

"So what ? She already won, Liam! She killed my baby! She killed my love!" 

"Then what am I?" her fave expression changes. Then, someone bargs in the door and I hear a loud bang.

Evelyn's pov

I see Liam falling to the floor. My eyes grow wide. 

"LIAM!" I yell. I run over to him and kneel down. Blood is pouring out of his stomach. He looks at me.

"I'm sorry" he mumbles. I feel tears running down my cheeks, fast. 

"No no no, stay with me, Liam! O my god, I love you so much. I'm so sorry for everything. I would've loved to go to Hawaii with you" I say. But then, Liam's eyes close shut and the pressure on my hand is gone. 

"NO!" I yell. I hear another bang and look around. Karen is laying in the floor, blood surrounding her. 

"No no no no" I whisper to myself. I look and see Danielle, with a gun in her hand.

"Surprise, bitch" she says. She starts laughing. I cry. 

"Why?" 

"Because, you're a little bitch" then, she points the gun to my head. I shake my head and close my eyes. I can't believe that I'm about to die. After everything. After surviving everything that we did. After losing my baby. After losing my parents. After losing Amber. And now, after losing the love of my life. I'm about to die. 

On the other hand, I have no family left. No one who will ever love me the way Liam did. The way Karen did. I'm ready. Then, a lot bang is heard and everything turns white.
