lightningpaw followed Sunsky back to camp but stopped.
"Sunsky is it okay if I go for a walk? I will bring back some prey" she looked hopefully at her mentor.
"Fine but make sure you do" Sunsky said and bounded off. Lightningpaw walked the other way and started to think about Hawkfrost. Why is a starclan cat talking to me?! Lightningpaw found herself at streamclan border. She looked around. The stream looked nice and cool. Suddenly a cat came out from behind a rock. Nightpaw.
" hi Lightningpaw" she said.
" hi" replyed Lightningpaw. The two she cats looked at each other not knowing what to say.
"Nightpaw have you had any odd dreams?" Lightningpaw did not know why she asked the black she cat but she did.
" No not really. Why what's wrong?"
" oh don't worry about it"Lightningpaw looked at her paws. Nightpaw narrowed her eyes. Then treepaw walked by.
"oh hey Lightningpaw" Treepaw smiled at her. He turned to look at Nightpaw and hissed. She hissed back.
"hey you guys stop!" Lightningpaw said while getting between the two cats. Treepaw sat down. Nightpaw turned away.
" Hey Lightningpaw Cloudsky has had her kits!"m
" wow what are their names?"
" Can't say" Treepaw grinned.
"what the point in telling us then?!" hissed back Nightpaw. Treepaw growled and pounced on her. She missed the attack. Nightpaw then jumped on his back. Treepaw pushed her off and shook the dust off his pelt.
" See you around Lightningpaw" Treepaw touched her flank with his muzzle and walked off. The two females were alone once more. Nightpaw was quiet.
"Does he love you or something?" she grunted. While licking her tail like nothing happend. I hope he doesn't that against the warrior code!
"I hope not" Lightningpaw said
" I have to go it was nice talking to you again" Nightpaw turned and walked away. Lightningpaw promised that she would bring fresh kill back. She saw a mouse and slowly creepe up on it. she then pounced and killed it swiftly. She began to walk back to camp. Snowfeather was on guard and nodded her head to Lightningpaw. she dropped the mouse on the pile and went to her den. She soon fell asleep hoping to see the starclan cat........
