It has now been three moons since Lightningkit had been born. She let out a big yawn. She looked around. Her mother was asleep and was snoring quietly. Lightningkit only knows her mother, father and Redfoot from the clan. She slowly got up and started to groom her pelt. Today I will talk to every warrior so I know my clan mates better, she thought. She walked out of the nursery and narrowed her eyes at the strong sun light. She opened her mouth to taste the air. She saw warriors do this when they went out hunting. She could smell many different cats and a mouse. She dropped down into a hunting crouch. And pounced. A yowl went off. She looked down to see a grey tail. She looked up to see a long haired tom with light blue eyes. He narrowed his eyes at her.

"Sorry" Said Lightningkit. He rolled his eyes.

"Watch what your doing next time!" He stalked off. Well he was rude!

"Dont worry about Greydawn he gets grumpy quickly" Lightningkit turned around to see a pretty white female looking at her. Greydawn huh? She thought. She looked back to long furred male talking to Redfoot.

"I am Lightningkit" Lightningkit said and looked at the female.

"I am snowfeather" She said

"I am going to talk to all of my clan mates to day" Said lightningkit

"Would you like me to come with you?" Snowfeather asked kindly.

"Yes please" Lightningkit liked her new friend.

"Follow me." Lightningkit followed her, "I see you know Redfoot and Greydawn. But you have not seen sunsky yet" Lightningkit looked to see a light ginger female sitting on a rock basking in the sun.

"Is that her?" asked Lightningkit pointing her muzzle over to Sunsky.

"Yes come on!" Lightning stood next to Snowfeather.

"Sunsky I have someone who wants to talk to you" Smiled Snowfeather. Lightningkit stepped forward. She could feel the warm rock against her paws.Sunsky looked at her she smiled.

"Hello younge one"

"hi i am Lightningkit" Sunsky laughed.

" I know who you are. Thistlehawk is my half bother" She smiled.

"Well we better go. She wants to talk to all of her clan mates" Said Snowfeather.

"Lightningkit i hope you not bothering Snowfeather" Lightningkits mother walked up to them.

"Its okay Shadowmoon. I dont mind" Shadowmoon layed next to Sunsky on the warm smooth rock. Shadowmoon nodded her head.

"Come on Lightningkit lets see Troutpool" Snowfeather said. Lightningkit nodded her head. As she was walking she heard Sunsky and Shadowmoon talking.

"She is such a lovely kit Shadowmoon. But i do feel sorry for her to have no one to play with" Whispered Sunsky

"I know Sunsky. It was nice of Snowfeather to show her around" Said shadowmoon also whispering.

"Lightningkit" Snowfeather said

"huh?"

"Troutpool the deputy is over there with Shadestar. Come on they dont bite" Lightningkit saw a big black male and a grey female talking.

"Wait you stay here Lightningkit" Snowfeather ran up to them. Lightningkit looked around. She saw Greydawn crouched under a log staring at her. She caught his eye. He pulled away and walked off. weird, she thought. She looked back to Snowfeather who was walking over to her.

"Lightningkit you will have to talk to them another day. Sorry"

"Its okay" Snowfeather was looking at Shadowmoon. She wont see this coming! Lightningkit thought. She pounced on Snowfeather who feel backwards.

"Streamclan scum!" Lightningkit hissed

"Oh no help! I am being attacked by the great Darkclan warrior!" Snowfeather said while batting Lightingkit with her paw.

Snowfeather and Lightningkit played for ages together until Shadowmoon came up to them.

"come on Lightningkit. I think Snowfeather needs a rest." Shadowmoon laughed. Lightningkit sighed

"Thankyou Snowfeather. I know i can be a pain but thanks for today."

"Its okay Lightningkit" Snowfeather licked her head. Shadowmoon picked Lightningkit up and took her into the nursery. She then drifted off to sleep.
