Hawkfosts pov

Once Lightningfrost and the StarClan cat left the two toms broke apart. Tigerstar narrowed his eyes at Hawkfrost. Hawkfrost started to lick is wounds. He looked up and gave his father an icy glare.

"I hate lying to her" he growled.

"You were growing too close. We made a plan for you to leave her, and I followed it but u didn't" Tigerstar growled. Hawkfrost growled.

"I followed-"

"The plan was I pin her down, you watch and do NOTHING showing her you don't care.Then YOU messed it up by attacking me" Tigerstar said. Hawkfrost remembered the look in her eyes when he said he was no longer going to talk to her. His heart ached for her. He wanted to be her mate and start a family but he knew that could never happen.

"I could not watch you kill her!" He spat. Tigerstar widened his amber eyes

"You love her! Your no dark forest cat!" His father spat. Hawkfrost braced him self for a fight. Tigerstar walked over to him his eyes narrowed.

"Tigerstar there's no need to attack him" said Thistleclaw walking towards them. Tigerstar looked at him.

"He-"

"Surely Tigerstar you should have known they were in love" sneered the grey and white cat,"they were always together"

"I thought Hawkfrost was doing as we told him, to get her to join us and fight for us against Thunderclan, Windclan, Riverclan and Shadowclan" Tigerstar growled.

"I was but, there was just something about her" Hawkfrost said. Darkstripe came out from the trees.

" Aww is Hawkfrost in love?" Darkstripe grinned. Hawkfrost leapt at the tabby. Hawkfrost raked his belly and bit his shoulders. Darkstripe clawed a his flank. Tigerstar and Thistleclaw just sat there watching closely. Hawkfrost bit down on Darkstripes ear. Blood swelled up in his mouth. Darkstripe tried to escape but and anger loss was building up inside him. Darkstripe bit down on his neck. Hawkfrost got his hind paw and scratched all down Darkstripes belly. Darkstipe yowled and let go. Hawkfrost lost his grip on Darkstripes scruff and he got away. Hawkfrost stood there panting. Blood dripping from his flank both his and Darkstripes. Darkstripe stood next to Tigerstar. His eyes wide. Clumps of fur was missing and he was bleeding badly and there was blood all over him. Hawkfrost narrowed his eyes at him and hissed. Darkstripe limped away.

"You really do love her" rasped a voice. Mapleshade stalked over to them.

"What is this a gathering?" He puffed. He shook his pelt off and started to walk away when a voice called behind him.

"Were do you think your going?" Rasped Mapleshade.

"For a walk" he said.

"We need to practise fighting moves for the attack!"Tigerstar growled.

"I think you know I can fight" he said. He turned around and looked at Darkstripe who was licking his wounds. Hawkfrost padded away.

He was at the StarClan border. He looked behind him. No cat was following him. Once he knew he was safe he stepped over the border. The sunlight warmed his pelt. He breathed in the clean air. Bees buzzed around his ears. He felt like a kit again. He continued to walk though the unknown territory. He came to a clear stream. He started to lap up the cool fresh water. He started to hunt. He sat at the edge of the water. He made sure his shadow didn't go on the water. A silver fish darted past but he was quicker. He hooked it with his claw. It came out of the water and he killed it with a swift bite. He started to eat his catch. He missed the fatty salty tast.

"Hawkfrost you shouldn't be here" said a sweet voice. He turned around to see Bluestar. He quickly stood up.

"I wanted to know how Lightningfrost was" he mumbled. Bluestar walked over to him and sat down. He did the same.

"She is fine" she said

"Good well I better go" he said while standing up

"Stay" she said. He sat down again

"Sometimes I wonder why you are in the darkforest" she sighed. Hawkfrost twiched his whiskers

"I tried to kill Firestar" he said.

"You tried to kill him for Brambleclaw, you both wanted to be leaders" she said. Hawkfrost remembered when Firestar was caught in the fox trap.

"But still" he said.

"You saved a cat Hawkfrost, you risked your life for Lightningfrost. Tigerstar would have killed her no matter what he said" Bluestar turned to look at him. Hawkfrost looked at his paws

"Love has changed you Hawkfrost, for better" Hawkfrost looked her.

"But I'm still in the darkforest" he growled

"Hawkfrost what you done was wrong but Brambleclaw wanted power too and you saved Lightningfrosts life so if you except it, you can join StarClan" Bluestar smiled. Hawkfrost jumped to his paws. Joy filled up inside him

"Really?!" He said

"Yes" she purred.

" Yes I will join StarClan" he purred.

"However you can't talk to Lightningfrost" she said sadly. His tail dropped.

"Why?"

"Its not her destiny to be with you. I'm sorry" she sighed.

"Then what is her destiny?"
