Lightningpaw walked out of the nusery. Shadestar walked past her with a big rabbit. He smiled at her and walked into the nusery. Snowfeather looked over at the nusery and sighed.

"What's wrong?" Lightningpaw asked while trotting over to her.

"I would love kits. Don't you think that smokekit looks handsome I mean a strong fighter."snowfeather looked down at her paws.

"I think someone loves Smokekit" Lightningpaw pushed snowfeather.

"I don't love him I think he is cute" snowfeather said.

"what are you two up too?" said Shadowmoon walking up to them with Sunsky

"nothing really. Can we ALL go hunnting together?" Lightningpaw begged. The three warriors grinned.

"sure let's go" said her mother. Lightningpaw followed them out of camp.

"right who ever brings back the most amount of prey wins" said sunsky

"I will go near Streamclan. Sunsky in one half of Darkclan Shadowmoon in the other. That leaves you Lightningpaw near Meadowclan" snowfeather said and ran off near Streamclans territory. Lightningpaw flicked her tail and ran off in the direction of Meadowclan territory . Once there she drawed in all the scents. She could smell rabbit. She dropped into a crouch. She saw it munching away at the long grass. She saw Treepaw stalking a mouse. His mucles rippled under his brown pelt. She turned back to the rabbit. she was about six cat lengths away. She leaped on its back and clamped hard on its neck.

"Wow you are good at leaping" she turned to see Treepaw next to her. He looked bigger than the last time she had seen him.

"Thanks you are good at getting mice" she said back.

"Not long now until I'm a warrior" he said

"wow and your nearly full grown" Treepaw looked at himself and purred.

"I am. So when will you be a warrior?"

"I still Have a long way to go. I better get going I need to beat some friends at a huntting compition" she said while picking up her rabbit

" Here Have this" he dropped the mouse at her paws.

"no Treepaw this is a Meadowclan mouse I can't take this" he started to walk away

" to bad!" he called over his shouler. Lightningpaw smiled to herself and burried the rabbit and mouse. Toms!

Lightningpaw caught two more rabbits and a dove. She brang all of her prey back to camp. The other three sat there talking.

"There she is!"Shadowmoon ran up to her and licked her ear.

"you were gone for so long But you Have lots of prey!" said Sunsky

"I'm telling Shadestar how much prey you got for us today. He will be happy" Snowfeather ran towards the leaders den.

"you get first pick" her mother said. Lightningpaw licked her lips and bit down on the dove. She finshed in six mouth fulls. her mother chuckled and went in the warriors den. Lightningpaw headed for the apprentice den. and fell asleep.

She awoke to find her self in the meadow once more.

"your a good hunter and fighter" she saw Hawkfrost come out from the long grass.

" Thankyou Hawkfrost"

" I can teach you some fighting moves if you want?"

"sure"

"first I will teach you that when you run towards your foe rake your claws along their flank. Try it on me" Lightningpaw ran at him. He was about to rake her pelt when she leaped over his paw and attacked his flank.

"You are good" he grinned.

"I will see you soon Lightningpaw" he said then be began to fade......
