Chapter 19
Lightningpaw jumped to her paws. The prochey still lingered in her mind. She shook her pelt. She walked out side to see the leaders talking. Lightningpaw walked closer.
"Flowerstar, you can't leave yet. Your camp is no where near finished" shadestar said.
"I know Shadestar, you have been very kind to us but our camp is almost finished." Flowerstar
Said kindly dipping her head.
"If you wish" he growled. Shadestar leaped on top of the high log. Flowerstar jumped up next to him.
"Let all cats old enough to catch gather beneath the high log for a clan meeting!" Shadestar said. Cats came out of their dens mumbling to each other. Redfoot and yarrowpelt came out of the medicine cat den together. Meadow clan and Darkclan cats came out of their dens mumbling to each other., "flowerstar wants to back to her new camp tomorrow." Shadestar said looking at flowerstar. Cats started to talk.
"We go go back yet! the camp is no where near done!" a meadowclan cat shouted. Lightningpaw sat down towards the back of the group of cats and wrapped her tail around her paw. The Meadowclan cat did have a point. where would the kits go? Cats continued to talk.
"I shall take all the warriors from Meadowclan today and we shall remove the rest of the brambles"
Flowerstar said. Her amber gaze burned through the warriors like fire on wood. The cats murmured in agreement. Flowerstar smiled.
"So its settled then" she said with a smile. With a flick of her grey tail she jumped down from the high log and summoned her warriors with a flick of her ear. Lightningpaw watched as the warriors slowly made their way towards their leader. Sunsky walked next to Lightningpaw with a rabbit in her jaws. She put the rabbit down and looked at Lightningpaw. Her yellow eyes caught her eyes.
"Here," she nudged the rabbit towards Lightningpaw ,"you must be hungry" Lightningpaw dipped her head in thanks and started to eat the rabbit. She stopped every so often to let Sunsky have some.
"It wont be long now until Cloudskys kits will be apprentices" Lightningpaw said with a mouth full of flesh. Sunsky smiled.
"Just a few more sunrises" Lightningpaw looked at the nursery to see Silverkit topple out.
"To bad," Lightningpaw said to Sunsky," Silverkit would have made a good Darkclan cat. She has the strength and slyness about her" Lightningpaw said while narrowing her eyes at the silver tabby. Sunskys eyes turned to slits. She studied the kit closely and slowly nodded. Once they had finished the rabbit they started to share tounges.
"Are we going to train today?" Lightningpaw asked through a mouth full of Sunskys ginger fur.
"No. Nothing needs to be done" Sunsky said. They both started to walk over to the warm rocks. Lightningpaw could sense that leaf-fall was on it's way. The strong breeze sent shivers down her spine. Lightningpaw jumped up in the smooth, grey rocks. The warmth felt good on her black pads. She layed down and started to bask in the sun. She soon fell asleep.

She woke up to find herself in the lush meadow. Butterflys flew around her ears. She sniffed a rose what made her sneeze like a kit. She walked through the meadow to see Hawkfrost waiting for her. She was sure she heard a small purr rise in his throat. His long brown fur looked freshly groomed. Together they walked to the beautiful water fall. They sat down. There was silence between them except the faint buzzing of bees.
"Hawkfrost this place is amazing" Lightningpaw sighed. She had come to the dark forest for moons, since she was made a apprentice. He had taught her most of the battle moves she knows. He smiled and raped his tail around hers. His touch sent shock waves through her body. She looked at him and caught his eyes. They smiled. Lightningpaw started to purr. She moved closer so the pelts brushed. There was no where else she wanted to be, than with Hawkfrost.
