Niall's Perspective

I walked into work that morning to find my co-workers waiting for me already with a file with urgent stamped across it

"This is Liam he's been brought with an unknown illness, he's deaf, partially blind" I was told and taken into a room were a small boy was laying crying in pain

"Hey Liam I'm Niall, can you tell me what hurts" I said

"My whole body, please make it stop" he cried while looking at me

"Liam you need to calm down or I can't help you" I sighed sitting next to him

"I just woke up this morning with stabbing pains in my chest, legs, arms and back" he sniffed

"Ok buddy could you take your top off" I smiled

That smile soon disappeared when I saw all the bruises and cuts covering his small body, he started to cry again as examined him so I put my clipboard down and went over to him, I lifted him up and sat him on my lap and rocked him trying to calm him down.

That night I went home in tears, when I got home my three boyfriends were in the kitchen cooking dinner. Instead of sitting on one of their laps like I usually did I sat on a separate chair while tears rolled down my cheeks.

"Niall what's wrong" Harry asked

"A kid was brought in this morning and I think he's abused but he's really ill and I don't what's wrong" I whispered

"Well we are coming into the hospital tomorrow we will try and come and see him alright" harry said rubbing my back in a soothing manner

You see I worked at the hospital but my boyfriends worked as a famous boy band named 1D. When I walked into work that morning I brought my guitar with me so I could use that to calm down Liam. Liam's smile grew when he saw me, I noticed his face looked paler than yesterday so I checked his temperature just incase he had the flu. Up his temperature was normal. I did blood work that came back negative for everything and the last thing I did before my boyfriends were meant to turn up was get a CAT scan. What I found made me cringe, he had a tumour in his spine which was what was causing all the pain in his chest, back, legs and arms.

"Liam I think I know what's wrong" I smiled walking in to his room.........
