"Liam please don't leave me, you didn't tell me you were raped, you're pregnant babe, you'll get your baby but you have to wake up" Zayn whispered as he sat by his boyfriends hospital bed 

"I can't live without you Li" Zayn whispered again, he blamed himself for his younger boysfriends going back to his old ways of self harming, he hadn't noticed the signs and now the doctors were saying they didn't know if he'd wake up

"Sir, visiting hours are over, I'm sorry" the nurse said feeling bad because the man had hardly left the boys side since he had been brought in

"I love you Li, please stay healthy, not for me but for yourself and your baby" Zayn whispered as he kissed the boys forehead 

"Come on sir, we will call you if anything happens" the nurse said gently guiding the man to the sign out desk

RING RING

"Hello Zayn speaking" Zayn groaned having been woken up 

"Sir, you're boyfriend has gone into early labour, you need to come to the hospital now" the nurse said

"I'm on my way, is he awake?" Zayn asked as he quickly got dressed 

"We aren't going to do anything until you are here" the nurse continued before she hung up the phone

As Zayn drove fast to the hospital he called his boyfriends adoptive father, Louis and told him to meet him at the hospital. Louis was confused but woken his husband up and told him that his son was in hospital and they were needed quickly. Louis had always had a soft spot for Liam's older boyfriend Zayn, his 45 year old husband Harry not so much because Zayn was 28 years old, whereas Liam had only just turned 16 years old.

"I knew he should never have been aquatinted with that bastard" Harry snarled as they parked in the hospital 

"Haz, I've never seen Liam so happy with anyone before" Louis sighed as he got out the car, lacing his hands with his husband as they walked into the hospital  

"Mister Stylinson, I'm sorry, I didn't notice, I've been doing more night shifts so I can treat him to a proper holiday" Zayn said as he noticed the men who were his boyfriends guardians

"Zee what happened, I called him like two weeks ago and he sounded so happy, spoke about how you took him for dinner" Louis said as he followed the man to where his son was 

"He was raped four months ago and then went back to self harming, it is all my fault, he had gone for a walk by himself and I didn't go with him because I was tired" Zayn cried looking directly at Harry who had never talked to him, his lip set in a think line

"You're telling me, you et my baby boy get raped and is now fucking pregnant with his child!?" Harry yelled walking towards the man 

"Yes and I'm sorry, I'll take full responsibility" Zayn whispered, taking a step back

"You fucking bet you will, and when he wakes up, you can forget about seeing him" Harry snarled, stopping when he saw how broke Zayn looked after that comment

"Mister Stylinson, I know you don't like me but I'm not who you think I am, I'm an orphan, have been since I came out as gay when I was 14, I want Liam to have a proper life, one that I never had, Liam stopped me from taking drugs and drinking alcohol until I didn't even know who I was, I know I'm not perfect but Liam makes me happy and I try and make him happy even if it does mean me working loads of shifts" Zayn said quietly, watching as Harry seemed to calm down 

"Zayn, I'm sorry, really I am, I shouldn't have made first impression by your looks" Harry said watching the man smile small

"Come on in guys, he is in labour but we can't wake him up as he's extremely weak" a nurse said smiling at Zayn 

"Liam baby, your parents are here, you're gonna have your baby, he's very early but hopefully he'll take after you, strong, brave and kind-hearted" Zayn said taking Liam's hand in his as he watched the boys body tense every so often as a contraction hit 

"Zayn, look his eyes are fluttering" Harry pointed out, the two not moving so that the couple could have a moment

"That's normal, it's been happening for to months, he hasn't woken up" Zayn whispered resting Liam's hand on his forehead 

"Zeeee, it hurts" a voice moaned making the man jump in fright 

"Hey lovely, you need to push or you'll lose your baby" Zayn said just as two nurses walked in 

"Liam darling, nice big pushes, there we go, good lad, alright stop just pant to get his shoulders out, now good push, god lad, and we have a baby boy" the nurse smiled

"Where's my daddy?" Liam asked as he watched his baby being taken away to the PICU 

"I'm right here baby, and I'm sorry I never accepted you and Zayn, I can see why you choose to date him" Harry whispered coming to sit on the opposite side of Liam, Louis following him to sit him on Harry's lap

"Hi papa" Liam whispered, just as the two nurses walked back into the room without the baby

"Hi guys, so baby boy will need to stay in the hospital for a few months as he is way too small to be healthy, he will definitely be disabled and have a very tricky life but I know you both will be able to keep him happy and healthy" the older nurse said

"Can we go and see him?" Liam asked as he took his boyfriends hand in his own

"Yes, let me get you some proper clothes first though" the nurse said, while checking Liam over to make sure he was ready to be discharged

"Thank you" Liam said as he was handed a pair of black tracksuit pants and a shirt 

"As soon as you're ready you can go down and see baby" the nurses smile as they walked out

5 YEARS LATER 

"Niall slow down baby, daddy can't walk that fast" Zayn laughed as his son ran in front of him as they walked to meet Liam at the park 

"Daddy need to see mummy" Niall yelled back

"He won't be moving anywhere fast babe, come here your trousers are falling down again" Zayn said running forward and lifting the tiny 5 year old into his arms

"Reach for the stars" Niall giggled stretching his arms out wide as his daddy spin him around 

"You're so much like your mummy" Zayn said as he kept the boy on his hip and continued the walk to where he could see his now husband was sitting

"There's mummy, can I go see him?"Niall asked wriggling trying to get down

"Of course, but be careful baby" Zayn said letting the boy down and watching him run at the man who had saved Zayn

"MUMMY" Niall yelled as he threw himself at the man he loved

"Heyy Ni, where's daddy?" Liam chuckled as he hugged his son close 

"I'm right here Li, good day at work?" Zayn asked sitting by his husband as Niall got down to go and play in the children's playground 

"Yea, I also went to therapy today, I'm not on medicine any more and doc says I probably won't need to go any more" Liam said happily as he looked at his wrists which had so many scars 

"Mummy, what are those?" Niall asked as he ran back to his parents 

"I did some silly things when I was younger" Liam said gently as he gasped when his son touched his scars 

"You stopped when you had me, I'm your guardian angle" Niall whispered making Liam and Zayn look at each other in awe 

"What do you mean by that baby?" Liam asked confused 

"You started hurting yourself when the bad man hurt you but tried to stop so many times, and then the nurses told Zee that if you survived it would be a miracle, and if I survived it would be even bigger miracle" Niall said repeating the words the nurses had told Zayn weeks before Niall had been born
