It's hard- Nouis! parents Ziam! brother

"I miss him daddy" 8-year-old Liam whispered as he cuddled his daddy close 

"I know baby, but mummy and Zee have to do this to protect their country yea" Niall said as he rubbed his youngest sons back in a soothing manner

"Mummy took your place, and Zee's done it since he was 18" Liam said as he pulled his daddy's shirt up to reveal a large scar that ran from the top of Niall's collar bone to just above his manhood 

"Yea babe, you know what this shows?" Niall asked his son as the boy traced his scar

"Strength and bravery daddy" Liam giggled as he allowed his daddy's shirt to fall back into place

"That's right baby, now I believe you have boxing today" Niall said lifting his son up

"Yea, but I don't want to go alone, don't leave daddy" Liam whispered as Niall helped him get changed into his gear 

"You need to tell Darren about your leg ok, I need him to know about the stitches that could be ripped open" Niall said as he slowly slid on Liam's socks and  shoes on over the many bruises from the abuse he had been through when Louis had been married to his old husband 

"I will daddy, I still don't know why my old daddy did this is it coz mummy gave birth to me and he isn't a lady" Liam asked softly wincing as his bruises were knocked 

"Yea baby, he wasn't accepted by his husband but I accept him because you are cuter than him and he has a way with words" Niall said as he kissed the boy's forehead 

"I love you daddy" Liam said as he fiddled with his draw strings on his black sport shorts 

"Love you too, come on lets get going" Niall said as he placed the boy onto his own two feet

"Daddy you forgot my bag" Liam giggled as he was carried down the stairs 

"Opps so I did, wait here baby, listen to music on your iPod" Niall said handing Liam is bright green iPod which had been a present from his now 20 year old brother 

"Ok, thanks daddy, but my beats are also up stairs" Liam giggled talking about the headphones his mummy had gotten him just before he was enlisted 

"Ok, I'll get them you stay down here" Niall said before walking upstairs and grabbing everything his son wanted 

"Lets gooo" Liam giggled when Niall came back down the stairs 

"Liam remember to tell Darren, I need to park the car" Niall said as they arrived at the gym

"Ok, love you daddy" Liam said as he limped into the gym making everyone smile as they saw the small boy
