"He is so small sir, we don't think he will make it through the night" the nurse told Zayn as he cried for his young son
"Can I name him please" 16 year old Zayn cried
"Yes of course sir" the nurse said getting a clip board and pen at the ready
"Liam James" Zayn whimpered as he started to calm down
"Lovely name, now due to the complications we will have to keep you in for tonight" the nurse said as she checked Zayns vitals once more before walking out of the door
"Please keep fighting, don't leave like your father did" Zayn whispered to himself talking the father to the boy who had been killed two moths prior (not Niall) in a car accident

THREE YEARS LATER
"Liam babe, wake up, we have a long drive today" 19 year old Zayn whispered waking up his now three year old son who was so small but was continuing to live his difficult life
"Mama" Liam whispered opening his eyes slowly allowing Zayn to put his glasses on his face
"Morning honey, good sleep" Zayn asked his son slowly allowing the tiny boy to sit up
"Yea, sleep good" Liam said as he sat up yawning

Despite the child being four months early, he only really had three severe medical issues which were Autism, his type was that he found it hard to understand people he didn't know and loud noises were a nightmare. His second medical issues was that he had such bad separation issues he had accurately been put on medicine to stop the anxiety. His third and final medical issues was that he couldn't walk so Zayn either had to carry him or put him the stroller he had bought when Liam was a newborn.
"Shall we get changed babe?" Zayn asked as he changed his sons nappy, another problem was he couldn't grasp potty training and Zayn decided he'd keep him in nappies until he was ready to learn
