"Zayn Javadd Malik, get your fucking arse down here now" the drunk man yelled for his young step-son who was cowering in his older step-brothers room crying quietly in fear

"Liam come home please come home" Zayn whimpered quietly screaming when his step-father barged drunkenly into the room 

"Come here you shitface, I'm gonna fucking kill you" he yelled as he punched Zayn hard in the face causing the small 10 year old to scream out for Liam who was out with friends 

The beating went on for two hours the whole time, Zayn was screaming for his brother or for anyone to help him. Zayn's step-father continued to hit the boy but soon got bored and roughly picked ht small child up thowing him on the bed while ripping off Zayn's trousers, before taking his own trousers off and without warning slamming into the child who was now finding it hard to breath from how much he was screaming.

"PUT THE CHILD DOWN, ITS THE POLICE" a voice yelled causing Zayn's step-father to pull out instantly

"I'm here, calm down, Liam has you, everything is ok, I have you" Liam cooed as he walked out of the house with police officers behind him

"Liam, I don't want to lie here anymore" Zayn cried as he was placed on a bed in the ambulance 

"I know, you won't be" Liam said holding his brothers hand tightly just as a police officer walked into the ambulance 

"I'm Officer Tomlinson, I will be escorting you to the hospital and staying with you until you're put in an orphanage ok" the man said 

"Liam, I want to stay with you, don't leave me" Zayn cried thinking the two of them would be split up

"You're not allowed to be spilt up because of Zayn's past, Liam did he ever hurt you?" the officer asked 

"Thank you so much sir, and yea before Zayn arrived with his mum who died at the hands of my father, he used to beat me every night and on my 10th birthday he raped me but stopped when I was 14 because he met Zayn's mum" Liam said as he held Zayn's hand tightly 

"I need to call my husbands as they are your social workers, I'm not going home without you two" the officer said as they arrived at the hospital 

"LIAM NO, DON'T LEAVE ME" Zayn yelled as he was wheeled to the operation theatre 

"I need to go with him, he's scared please" Liam whimpered tears threatening to fall but he was being held back by the same officer 

"Calm down Li, come sit with me and my husbands yea" he said leading Liam to another two men 

"I need Zayn, I need to protect him" Liam whimpered trying to walk the other way 

"No, babe come on, this is Louis and Harry, my name is Niall" Niall said as he helped Liam sit down in-between the two men

"Hi Liam, how old are you darling?" Louis asked as he gently took Liam into his own arms as he continued to cry for his brother 

"16 sir" Liam sniffled cuddling into the warm body 

"And how old is your brother Zayn?" Louis asked as Liam started to calm down

"10 sir" Liam sniffled again 

"Not sir honey, call me Louis ok" Louis said cuddling Liam close who was close to sleep yawning every few minutes 

"ZAYN MALIK" a doctor yelled causing Liam to jump up as if he was never asleep

"Louis, Niall, Harry come on, I need Zayn" Liam said pulling Louis towards the doctor 

"I'm coming Li, one minute, we don't know where he is" Louis chuckled getting up and following the 16 year old

"Hi you guys must be looking for Zayn Malik, if you follow me this way please" the doctor said as he led the four men down the hallways 

"He's going to be ok right?" Liam asked anxious about his younger brother 

"He should be if he is kept healthy, he will be on crutches for the rest of his life as his father has caused a terrible effect on his bones, he also may have night terrors" the doctor explained 

"I can deal with that but I'm asking will he be alright with me?" Liam asked anxious to see his brother 

"Yea, but we have no where for him and you to stay so you'll-" the doctor was cut off by Harry 

"They are coming home with us" Harry said handing an adoption paper over to the doctor 

"Well that's great, Zayn is ready to go home as well" the doctor said as he led the men into the room where Zayn was still crying for his brother Liam

"Zayn, Liam is here now, don't cry no more" Liam said as he went to pick the boy up

"No, don't touch me, you'll hurt me" Zayn cried breaking Liam's heart

2 years later 

"Zayn wake up baby, hey its ok, you're safe" Niall said as he woke the crying boy up who was now 12 years old

"I'm scared daddy, I want mama" Zayn cried talking about Harry

"Ok come on babe, lets go to mama" Niall said picking the shaking boy up cuddling him close and bringing him to his room where Harry and Louis were wide awake waiting for Niall to come back

"Mama, want mama" Zayn hiccupped as he was handed to Harry who cuddled his little boy close 

"Oh babe, it's ok, mama has you" Harry soothed rubbing the sniffling boys back as he started to calm down

"Come on Niall, get in bed, you need to sleep babe" Louis said as Niall continued to stand there by the door

"Ok, shall I check on Li?" Niall said but was given a stern look by Louis which made him 

"There we go baby, you're ok, shhh sleep now" Harry said lowering Zayn into the bed next to Niall who instantly curled around the boy in a protective manner
