"Darren hurry up" Catherine yelled up to her husband
"We have time, loads of time, calm down babe" Darren said walking down the stairs
"I'm nervous is all, what if they don't like me" Cath sighed as her husband gave her a gentle hug
"They will love you" Darren said kissing his husband sweetly before allowing the man to the car
"Ok, come on lets go" Catherine said opening the car door
"Lets go get our babies" Darren replied smiling at his husband
2 hours later
"Hi there, we have come to pick up Zayn, Liam, Louis and Niall" Darren said holding his wife's hand
"Ah yes of course, come through here, they are waiting for you" the lady said leading the couple through to a room where four boys were waiting for them
"You know you're to get to know them before you can take them home right?" the lady said as she allowed the two into the room
"That's fine with us" Darren said smiling gently
"Ok well, I shall leave you with them" the lady said before walking out of the door
"Hi sir, I am Niall, I'm 18" a blonde boy said walking up to the two and shaking Darren's hand and waving shyly at Catherine
"Nice to meet you Niall, I'm Darren and this is my wife Catherine" Darren said smiling at the 18 year old
"Who are the rest?" Catherine asked gently noticing how scared two of the other three looked
"I am Louis, I'm 15" a small boy with bright blue eyes said smiling widely
"Nice to meet you Louis" Catherine said getting a surprise when Louis hugged her close
"You smell nice" Louis said shyly blushing like a mad man
"Why thank you honey, I will wear this more often just for you" Catherine said taking Louis small hand in hers
"Zayn, I'm er 13" a small teen said shyly moving closer to Niall
"Nice to meet you Zayn, can I have a hug or are you to old for that?" Darren said smiling as the boy ran forward for a hug
"No nobody is to big for cuddles, well maybe Liam" Zayn giggled as he wrapped his arms around Darren's waist
"Who is that Ni?" Darren asked as he picked the tiny 5 year old up
"Oh that's Liam, he is 17, he erm doesn't talk much" Niall said quietly
"Cath go talk to him, I'll take these three to get their bags" Darren said knowing that his wife was good at getting kids to talk
"Hi Liam, I'm Catherine, your new mum but you don't have to call me that" Catherine said noticing how much the boy was shaking
"No hurt" a small voice whimpered
"I won't hurt you, neither will my husband" Catherine said gently as not to scare the boy anymore
"Love Liam" Liam asked not looking up causing Catherine to wonder what had happened to the child in front of her to make him so scared
"Liam look at me" Catherine asked the boy only to get a shock when the boy did, his face was covered in scars
"I ugly, daddy no like me" Liam whimpered tears falling slowly
"Hey, no need to cry babe, I love you and I'm sure Darren will love you too" Catherine said gently wiping the tears away
"I has hearing helpers too" Liam said showing Catherine his hearing aids

"They are very nice Li, shall we go and get your stuff" Catherine asked holding her hand out for the boy to take
"Liam has clothes, come with please" Liam said taking Catherine's hand and holding close
"Of course honey" Catherine said as Liam led her to a very small room where a small bag with the toy story characters on the front was packed with a second plain black bag next to it
"All Liam stuff, that nappies for Liam" Liam said blushing and looking at the floor
"Hey its ok, we won't judge you for wearing nappies" Catherine said as she hugged Liam close to her
"You mommy for Liam" Liam asked shyly hugging the women
"Of course honey, I will protect you forever" Catherine said as the two of them walked down to where the rest for the family were waiting
"That man Liam daddy" Liam asked as he noticed the man who was holding the bags of his new brothers
"Yea that is your daddy, and he won't hurt you either" Catherine said as she walked with Liam over to the five other men
"Right shall we get going" Darren said as he handed back all the signed paper
"Sir before you go here are all the files of the boys and a car seat for Liam" the lady said handing over 4 thick files and a car seat
"Thanks darling, well hopefully this is the start of our new life" Darren said handing the files to his wife and walking towards the family car where he put the car seat in the back so that his wife would be able to sit with the 17 year old
"Mister, can I sit in the front with you?" the 18 year old asked fiddling with his fingers his anxiety showing
"No need to call me sir its papa or dad ok, I was going to get you sitting with me anyway" Darren said smiling at the small 18 year old
"Ok papa, you do know that all four of us have some sort of disability right?" Niall said still fiddling with his fingers but now picking at his finger nails only stopping when Darren took his hands and made him sit on them
"I haven't read them no, and tonight me, you and my wife will sit down and have a look through them as you are the oldest, maybe Liam can join but the younger two will be upstairs asleep or watching TV" Darren said putting the car engine on with a squeal from Louis
"Daddy, we need music please" Louis squealed scaring Zayn causing little whimpers to erupt from his mouth
"Hey baby Zee, its ok we are nearly home, say sorry Lou" Darren said watching as his send youngest gave a very sweet apology to his youngest son
"Darren, hurry babe, someone needs a change" Catherine said while holding a crying Liam's hand gently stroking his busted knuckles
"Dont cry Li, daddy will get us home soon" Zayn soothed gently taking his bothers other hand and holding it close to his chest
"Look Li, we are home now, we can get you in something nice and comfy" Catherine soothed as she allowed everyone out of the car and then motioning for Darren to come and carry Liam for her
"Daddy carry Liam" Liam whispered as Darren unstrapped his belt
"Of course baby" Darren cooed as he lifted the light boy on to his hip
