Forever And Always | Finnick And Annie Love Story

8 years later

It's been 8 years since my games. I'm now 24, Cliff is now 26, Eve is 21. Finnick is 24 as well. I live with Finnick now since I was always there and never home anyways. We've been dating for a while now and we love each other very much. I'm surprised that he hasn't proposed yet, but I knew why. It was because of how crazy the capitol would react. He knows I hate the Capitol and that I would never want a Capitol wedding and Snow would most likely make us do that or else he'd kill someone we loved. God I want to shove a knife in his face, he's an asshole.

I woke up today next to the love of my life. I kissed his nose and he yawned. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forehead. I got up and changed into real clothes(picture above). I was planning on going to the beach today with Mags. Finnick had to do some stuff anyway, so it all worked out. I kissed Finnick goodbye and walked to the beach. Mags was early, as usual, or I was late. She was cutting up fish for us to eat. I helped her out and once we were done, we ate. After that, we decided to go look for pearls, one of Mag's favorite things to do. I found a few and made a bracelet for Eve. Mags found a big pearl and made a ring. Then, we just sat around and talked, well mostly I talked and Mags listened. One thing about Mags is that she doesn't talk much, but she will always let you know what she was thinking. I talked to her about my nightmares and she always found a way to comfort me. After my games, me and Mags got really close, we had an unshakeable bond, like her and Finnick. She was kind of like my grandma or what I remember of her. She was sweet, kind, and caring, just like Mags. But one big difference about Mags and my grandma, Mags was brave. My grandma was scared of the water. She never went near it. Mags, even in her old age, will jump in and swim like people young enough to be her grandchildren. Once it started to get dark, me and Mags walked to what is now Cliff and Eve's house. Every Friday, all of us went to one house and ate dinner as a family. This made me extremely happy because we all got along. Once we got there, Cliff was setting up the table and Eve was taking the food out of the oven. Mags sat down and I got the door. Finnick walked in and gave me a kiss. I turned around and saw Cliff get a very serious look on his face. Cliff was very protective of me, like a dad. I laughed and punched Cliff in the arm. He just smiled back at me, but gave Finnick a look. I went over to Eve and showed her the bracelet I made earlier.
E: Oh my gosh, Annie, you shouldn't have! *puts it on*
A: I had to. You deserve it.
E: Thank you, Annie.*hugs*
A: No problem, Eve. *hugs*
Once the food as ready, we all sat down and ate. We talked about random things like what we did today and told jokes. Once we were finished and got everything cleaned up, people started to leave. I hugged Cliff and Eve goodnight and so did Finnick. I went home and Finnick walked Mags home. He came in a few minutes later and jumped into bed. We cuddled all night and fell asleep in each other's arms. Everything was good, life was amazing. I'm happy and everyone else seems to be too.
