Back to the parade

I woke up and we were at the Capitol. I wanted to stay on that train. I did not want to go back to that place. Once we got out of the train, all the cpaitol people shouted our names and wanted us to be all romantical. We had to give them what they wanted because we were afraid of what Snow would do. He kissed me and we walked away with fake smiles. The kiss didn't feel real, it felt forced. That's something the capitol doesn't understand. You can't force love. Once we got to our apartment, I was forced to go straight to my makeup stylists. They dressed me in a bikini with fish nets covering the rest if my body. Finnick was wearing something similar, but in a guy version. They curled my hair and tied two pieces together and covered it with a seashell.
F: Holy shit Annie you look beautiful!
A: You look pretty great there yourself. *laughs*
F: Oh my gosh look *points*
A: What is it? *looks*
F: Katniss Everdeen.
A: Holy shit.
F: I'm gonna go talk to her. *walks to Katniss*
A: Ok.....
I couldn't hear them, but I saw that he offered her a sugar cube and she denied it. Apparently his flirting tactics weren't working on her, probably because she was already "taken" by Peeta. If you couldn't tell, I hate that whole love story. They're faking love, or at least she is. I can tell that Peeat really loves her, not sure about her though. They're faking love and I literally hate them for it, not much Peeta, but Katniss. Finnick continued to flirt with her until Peeta came over. Katniss looked at me and I gave her a back the fuck off my man look. She looked surprised, slightly scared, and sort of annoyed. I just went back to petting our chariot horse as Finnick walked back over to me.
A: Really? Flirting was your tactic.
F: I was trying to make allies.
A: Well why do you have to do it like that?
F: Oh is someone jealous?
A: *playfully punches Finnick's arm* Stop.
F: *wraps arms around Annie's waist* Don't worry. You're the only one I love.
A: *wraps arms around Finnick's neck* Good and you're the only one I love.
We kissed for a few seconds until we heard an announcer say to get on our carriages. We got on the carriage and held hands. No one noticed of course because Katniss and Peeta was all they were talking about. The star cross lovers from district 12, it makes me sick. Before them, me and Finnick were the it couple, but we basically were sacked once they came in. It's a good thing really, I hate attention, especially the Capitol's attention. But the fact that our love is real and theirs is fake, and they get the sponsors, the love, the attention? They get all of the praise and we just get shit.

After the parade, we went back up to our apartment. Tomorrow was the start of training. I tried to get as much sleep as possible, but I kept waking up from nightmares. Finnick did too. I hated seeing him that scared. It killed me inside. I wish that I could just take away all of his pain, but I can't, it'll never go away, ever.
