Peace: God! Shut up! He isn't here! *injects needle into Annie's arm*
A: *pushes needle away* Leave me alone!
Peace: *laughs* You wanna play that way? *grabs remote and turns on tv*
The tv turned on and it showed two bruised up people, kneeling. Peacekeepers were surrounding them. They were blindfolded and crying. As the camera zoomed in on the people, I realized who they were, Cliff and Eve. A tear fell down my eye, they punished them because I protected Peeta, because of what I said in the interview. I saw a peacekeeper pull a gun out and point it at Eve. Before I knew what to do, a shot fired, right into Eve's head.
A: *gasp* Oh my. *cries and screams* Eve! Oh my god!
Peace: *laughs*
They killed her, they killed Eve, my sister. Wait, did he just laugh. Oh that is it, they have pushed me to far. I looked him straight in the eye and pounced on him, but I was too weak, he easily pushed me to the ground and pinned me down.
A: Ah!
Peace: Don't push me missy, unless you want to have your brother killed too.
A: No! Please!
Peace: *pulls up* Now you're cooperating, good.
A: *cries* Eve.....
Finnick's POV
I was woken by the sound of Katniss screaming at me to get up. It reminded me of the fog, from the quarter quell and I never wanted to be reminded.
K: Finnick!
F: *gasp* A...Annie! *pants* Oh, Katniss.
K: Sorry.
F: It's fine. What's wrong?
K: It's Peeta, he's alive!
F: Really? How do you know?
K: There was an interview with him and Caesar.
F: How'd he look?
K: Not as bad as Annie.
F: *worried* Is there any news with Annie?
K: No, I'm sorry.
F: *sighs* Is there any update on when they're going to get them?
K: I told them as soon as possible, shouldn't be too long, hopefully.
F: *sighs and grabs rope*
I began to tie my rope like I always did when I was stressed. Katniss just watched me as I continuously did it.
K: You should probably give that thing a break, it's starting to get warn out and your hands look irritated.
Flashback
I continuously scrubbed at my hands, angry at myself for what I just did.
A: Finnick.
F: *scrubs harder*
A: Finnick!
F: *scrubs harder*
It stung, but I kept doing it, I wanted to make myself pay for the piece of shit move I had just did.
A: Finnick!! *grabs his hands*
F: I'm an asshole. *shoves her hands away*
A: No you just-
F: You were afraid of me Annie! *hold her cheeks* I never want you to be afraid of me, I love you.
A: I love you too Finnick.
Flashback over
K: Finnick!
F: Huh?
K: God, you can't keep a simple conversation for more that a minute.
F: I was just thinking.
K: About her. We will get her back Finnick, I know it.
F: *smiles* Thank you Katniss.
K: *smiles* I'll keep and eye out for any more interviews.
Annie's POV
After injecting me with my morning weakness needle, as I liked to call it, I was sent to a room where I saw a familiar face.
J: Hey there red, how's it going? *soft chuckle*
I was shocked to see how bad Johanna had gotten, she must have been fighting back to get this bad. She was as skinny as a stick, skinnier, she had a black eye, bloody nose, and bruises all over her body. I saw a few lash marks on her back, she looked so fragile that I didn't want to touch her, in fear of her breaking.
A: Oh my god Johanna! *cries*
J: *wipes away tears* Don't cry for me, I'm doing what I can to get us out of here, to get you to Finnick.
A: *smiles*
J: So what have they done to you so far?
A: Whipped, smacked, punched, kicked, shocked, injected with needles, is there anything they haven't done to me?
J: Did they lock you in a room with no food or water for 2 days straight?
A: No, did they do that to you?
J: Yep, nearly died from dehydration, but I'm ok now.
A: *puts hand on Johanna's shoulder* It'll be ok, we'll get out of here.
J: *laughs* That'll be the day.
A: *looks down*
After a few seconds, a peacekeeper came in and pulled Johanna away. I said goodbye to her, since that was all I could do, before they ripped her away from me. The peacekeeper came to me and he brought me into another room. This one had a screen on it and head gear. He hooked me up to the head gear and told me to look at the screen.
Peace: I'm gonna flash pictures at you and tell you what to say when you see them, if you say anything else but what you are told to say, you will get shocked, got it?
A: Yes.....
The first picture he flashed at me was my parents. It was their wedding picture.
A: *tear falls from eye*
Peace: Died from a boating accident.
A: Died from a boating accident...caused by the Capitol.
I looked at the peacekeeper and he just shook his head. He pressed a button and then I felt pain in my body, shocks everywhere. It was excruciatingly painful. He stopped the shock and started talking again.
Peace: Next picture.
He then showed a picture of Cliff and Eve. Oh god Eve, I can't believe she's dea.....gone.
Peace: Barely alive and dead.
A: Eve...Cliff...*tear falls*
Peace: Not the words.
Shocks came again, all over, stronger this time. I cried and screamed until it stopped.
Peace: *switches picture*
Once I looked up, my heart burst. It was Finnick. I tried to contain my tears, but I couldn't any longer.
Peace: I hate this man, he is not my love, I want to kill him.
A: I love this man, he is my love, I want to be in his arms. *cries*
The shocks kept coming, stronger and stronger, it was hell. They didn't stop this time, they kept coming, until I passed out.
