I walked for the rest of that night, knife in hand, ready for a fight. I was still a little scarred over killing that girl from district one, but she pushed me. She almost deserved to die. The guy from district 1 though, he deserved to die and I would do it again in a heartbeat. He killed Alistair. Now I only had the careers from district 2 and then I would win. I had to win now, not just for my family or Finnick, but for Alistair. I had to avenge him. I walked to the edge of the forest near the cornucopia. I was running low on knives and no one had died for days. I took Alistair's axe, but I had no idea how to use it properly. I saw a lot of rope and a belt of knives. I had to get them, but the careers were probably waiting for me to go there so they can kill me. They usually only hunt at night, so I waited till then to go. It had been dark for a little while now and I was ready to go. I ran from my place in the forest and ran to the cornucopia. I got the rope and the knives. I started to run away from the cornucopia when I heard a guy screaming, then a canon. The guy career from district 2 was dead. It was only me and the girl now. What did he die from? I started running back into the forest, wondering that. I had rested for a second to catch my breath. I heard a hiss. I looked around and grabbed a knife. Then I saw a tiger like animal come out from the darkness. It growled at me and then pounced. I moved out of the way and ran for it. It was following me as I ran back to the cornucopia. I jumped on top of it as I saw the only other tribute do the same. I grabbed my knife and threw it at her. It skimmed her ear, but didn't hit her enough to damage. She ran to me and tackled me. She tried to push me over the edge so the tiger things could get me. I kicked her in the stomach and flipped her over, so I was on top. I punched her face and grabbed one of my knives. I was about to stab her when she caught the knife, she was strong. She started to taunt me.
2: You're not gonna do it. We both know I'm the real victor here.
A: I'm going to win this and you're gonna go to hell where you belong. You killed Alistair.
2: Oh my god, you're not still obsessing over him, are you? He's dead and he's not coming back. Get over it!
A: I can't! He didn't deserve to die! You killed him for no god damn reason and you enjoyed it!
2: I never killed him! That wasn't me!
A: It was a career! You're a career! You were planning it!
2: Actually, the plan was to kill both of you, but then you killed our careers from 1.
A: We'll you're not gonna kill me. I'm the one getting home.
2: In your dreams!
She yanked my hair and flipped me over , so that she was on top. She grabbed her sword and was about to swing at me. I grabbed my knfe and stabbed her arm. She screamed in pain as I pushed her off of me. She fell over the ledge, but held on with her good arm. The tigers were snapping at her, but couldn't reach her. I stomped on her fingers that were holding on. She pleaded for me to help her, but I had to win, I had to avenge Alistair. I stomped on her hand one more time and she slipped and fell. She was screaming as she was being eaten alive. I just looked away and up at the sky. I said sorry to Alistair and all of the people I killed. I realized I killed 4 people. The guy in the cave, the careers from district 1, and the girl career from district 2. I heard a voice say my name and that I was the victor. I cried knowing I was going home. I was going to see Cliff, Eve, Luna, and Olivia again. I'm so happy right now! I can't believe it! The hovercraft came and picked me up. A bunch of nurses came running towards me and started to check if I was ok.

I woke up in the capitol and the first thing I saw were those beautiful ocean green eyes. I jumped up with a huge smile on my face. He smiled knowing I was ok.
F: Hey Annie. How you feeling?
A: Better. I'm just sort of...sad.
F: I'm sorry about Alistair, he was a great guy.
A: *tears up* Ya. I miss him so much. I just can't get over the fact that I killed people.
F: I know. It'll take some time, but I will help you through it all. *holds her hand*
A: Thank you Finnick. *hugs*
F: You didn't deserve this Annie and neither did Alistair, I will always help you and be there for you. *kisses cheek*
A: *blushes* Thank you Finnick.
