Is it so embarrassing to actually fall in love?
I honestly don't think so, but someone else seems to think it is.
Cal Austin is the school's Bad Boy. No one chooses to mess with him unless given the chance. His egoistic, yet sweet personality is som...

Kaylie's POV
I woke up in Cal's bed, the sound of soft snores coming through before I even closed my eyes.
A small smile threatened to appear as I looked at him hopelessly snoring away to whatever he was dreaming to.
Slowly, I got out of bed and went through all of the boxes that were in the guest room, and found the memory box under everything that was on top of it.
I opened the box and smiled at all the stuff inside the box: pictures, postcards, old jewelry. That was in there all these years. My heart swelled at the fact that it's the first time in years since I've touched this box.
I heard the door open and I knew it was Cal in the doorway.
"How did I know you'd be in here?" He asked, walking over to where I was and sat on the floor with me.
I let out a chuckle. "Hey," I greeted. "I hope I didn't wake you."
Cal shook his head sparing a crooked smile my way. "Your sleeping habits are rubbing off on me. I woke up early today."
I looked over at the clock. "It's 2:30 in the afternoon Cal, you should be getting ready for class soon."
"You don't have class today?"
"I have night class at 5. You'll be here before I leave."
He nods. "I'll go get ready. Eat something, okay?"
"Okay," I answered before he left.
I took this time to toast a couple slices of bread and cover the pieces with butter after they were done. That's all I settled for since I didn't have too much of an appetite that afternoon.
I walked back to the guest room and proceeded to look through the rest of whatever was in the box.
"Hey, I'm leaving." Cal said, making me look up from what I was about to read.
"Okay." I got up to walk him to the door.
"Let me know if anything comes up."
I gave a reassuring smile and nodded. He kissed my cheek and left, closing the door behind him.
I went back to the guest room with a bag of beef jerky in my hand. I picked up one of the piles pictures and went through them, smiling at all of the cute memories Cal and I had.
The small box next to the piles of pictures caught my eye, making me place down what I was previously looking at. I picked up the small and tried to remember where I got it from.
A smile made its way to my face when I saw what was inside and finally remembered.

"I have something for you," Cal announced as he placed a small box in my hand.
"What's this?" I chuckled. "Cal-"
"It's nothing really, just a little gift is all."
--------------------
I placed the ring on my finger and blushed a little. A little memory like this goes a long way.
The clock read 4:14 PM when I looked up. I stood up and went to Cal's room to get ready. I had class at 5 P.M. and I could not afford to be late again.
By the time I was ready, it was about 4:45 PM. I grabbed my books and bag and let Cal know I was leaving soon. But for the next hour and a half I was about to endure non stop talk about the world of business.

After a grueling hour and a half of presentations and notes, I was free to go back to the cottage and sit back and relax.
All the lights were off when I got inside Cal's. I switched on the lights to see where I was going when I was taken aback by a-
