CHAPTER TWO

Mikey's POV

Alicia is so sweet. She cares so much for everyone around her. She was still hugging Ray, her white shirt almost see-through from his tears. I knew she didn't care. I am so lucky to have found her. I don't know what I would do without her. She is so supportive of the band- and everything else I decide to pursue. I glanced at my wrist, the tattoo that said 'Forever' warming my heart.

I still can't believe what Christa said to Ray. He puts on a brave face, but I know that he is more sensitive than everyone realizes. He was totally in love with Christa, head over heels for her, and now his world is coming crashing down around him. Maybe he doesn't know it, but he will always have the MCR family there for him.

I was jolted out of my thoughts by the sound of the front door opening. Male voices were drifting down the stairs, coming closer. Frank and Gee were in the doorway, frantic looks on their faces. They both rushed over, crushing all of us into a giant group hug. This was how it is supposed to be- family sticking together. Maybe we weren't all blood related, but we were family- closer than most families. I know that LynZ and Jamia and the kids would be here if Alicia had let them, but someone needed to take care of the young ones. I don't know why I was thinking such sentimental thoughts. Maybe it was the scared-child look on Ray's face? I'm not sure, but that look really broke my heart.

Alicia had pulled Frank and Gee to the side, explaining everything that had happened in the last hour. It felt so much longer. I really can't stand to see my family in such disarray. Ray had his head on my shoulder now. I felt so bad, but I didn't know how to console Ray when he was so lost.

Frank and Gee and Alicia were back now, Frank and Gee's faces pale and tears forming in their eyes as they processed the information. We all sat in silence for a while, except for the sound of Ray's sobbing. Gee stood up and walked towards the kitchen mumbling something about getting some coffee. He came back carrying a tray with six mugs of steaming coffee. Alicia made Ray drink his coffee. He was just staring off into space with tears running down his face, sipping his coffee slowly.

Alicia cleared her throat and everyone turned to her, even Ray. She looked at me with a blank expression and whispered "I'm sorry I had to tell you like this Mikey". I felt my stomach drop.

Why is Alicia sorry for having to tell Mikey something that way?! Oh the suspense is killing me... lmao thanks for reading! Next chapter will be in [Alicia's?] POV. (not sure; cant decide)
