JAMIE POV
After learning and practicing our choreography for three hours, we all sat on the floor panting. The team split up into their social groups as they drank water. Chelsea was with Sunny and Jessica as one group, Bora, Soyou, Mark, and Jackson were together as a group, Bangtan was another group, and finally, I was alone in the corner. I drank my water as I looked at my phone. Then suddenly, I got a text from Elizabeth.

Your father is coming home late again, so if you want to go out with your friends, go ahead. Just let me know.
-Elizabeth

I texted back.

Hey Elizabeth guess what? I made it onto the dance team! I'll stay here a bit longer to practice but I will be home around dinner time. Don't worry about me!

With that, I put my phone down and continued to drink my water. Then, suddenly, Bora motioned me to come over by waving her hand, and I slowly got up and went to her group.

"Hey!" Bora, Soyou, Jackson, and Mark all said. I smiled at them.

"Hey." I said back.

"You're really good at dancing. We were all really impressed with your tryout yesterday." Jackson said. I thanked him.

"Ya I honestly think that you are the best female dancer here." Mark said and Bora slapped his arm. "Ow! Hey it's just an opinion geez!" He complained. Bora looked at me.

"I admit. You actually might be the best girl dancer here. I love your style when dancing." She complimented.

"I saw you dancing earlier too. I was really impressed." I said and she thanked me.

"Jamie I hope that you like it here. We will need your skill for championships." Soyou added. I felt flattered by all of their words.

"Thanks for being so nice guys. And you guys are awesome dancers too. We might be doing the same choreography, but you guys definitely have your own style when dancing and they are all really good." I said and they thanked me. Then, before we could talk more, Jimin called us in.

"Alright guys, good job today. We made good progress. You guys are free to go now. Go home and rest your bodies." He said. With that, everyone said bye and left to the locker rooms to change. I stayed behind and asked the teacher if I could stay a bit longer to practice. He was hesitant at first, but he eventually let me and walked out. I went over to the stereo and turned on a random station. When I did, 'Problem' by Ariana Grande came on and I broke out into the beat. I watched myself in the mirror as I danced but after a few seconds, I closed my eyes. I let the music move my body as I did swift turns, pops, and waves. When the song ended, I panted and opened my eyes. When I did, I unexpectedly heard clapping behind me. Startled, I quickly turned around to see Bangtan. My eyes widened.

"H-How long were you guys sitting there?" I asked. Taehyung smiled at me.

"Around two minutes. We walked in and saw you dancing with your eyes closed. We didn't want to disturb you so we just sat down and watched." He said. I blushed. That's so embarrassing...

"You're a really great dancer. You have a strong passion for it. I can see that you connect with the music and you listen to it. That's really good." Jimin complimented. My heart warmed up.

"T-Thanks." I said.

"Jamie, do you mind if we join you? We wanted to stay and practice too." Jhope said.

"No I don't mind at all." I said and they all smiled at me. Wow, they are handsome. At that, they all got up and the eight of us stood in this order: Jin, Taehyung, Suga, Jimin, me, Jhope, Jungkook, Rap Monster. Then, the stereo was turned back on and various songs were played as we all danced to it with our own styles. When we were done, we also danced to our choreography, and we ended with getting in a circle while we all took turns dancing in the middle. When we were done a couple of hours later, we collapsed on the floor with our water bottles as we wiped our sweat.

"Jamie, you're pretty cool." Jungkook said.

"Aww thanks. You guys are actually more chill than I expected." I said and their eyes widened.

"What do you mean?" Jin asked.

"Well, I was told that you guys push girls away and that you guys are the kingkas who don't give much attention to anyone else. I guess that just led me to assume that you guys weren't that sociable." I said.

"We're only like that because the girls here get too clingy and touchy." Taehyung said and I nodded.

"But you're pretty different. You are easy to talk to and you don't go crazy at the sound of our names." Jhope added. I smiled.

"Thanks but keep in mind that I moved here just a few days ago." I said.

"True but still, your not annoying, flirty, or crazy." He said and I laughed. With that, I looked at the clock. 6:00 pm. Wow, time went by so quickly. "Guys, I should probably get home now." I said and they nodded.

"Us too." Suga said.

"Mind if I walk with you?" Jimin asked me and the others' eyes widened.

"Your asking to walk a girl home?" Jin asked.

"She's my neighbor. She lives in the house next to mine." Jimin said and he turned back to me. I nodded.

"Sure." I answered. My heart started to beat faster. Why?

"What?! You guys live next to each other?!" The others asked and we nodded.

"Literally the view outside my window is Jamie's room." Jimin added and the others looked at him. "Aish don't think anything weird. You perverts." He said and everyone laughed it off. Then, I went into the locker room, changed, and went back out to the dance room. When I did, I saw Bangtan already there.

"Well thanks for the great practice guys. It was fun." I said and they smiled at me.

"We had fun too. It felt nice being around a girl and not feeling annoyed or uncomfortable." Rap Monster said. I laughed.

"Well, I'll see you guys tomorrow." I said. With that, we all said bye and went our separate ways besides me and Jimin. We headed for home in an awkward silence and it remained awkward for a few moments. Then, Jimin finally spoke up.

"So you can do just about every dance huh?" He asked. I turned to him.

"Ya. Ever since I was little I just wanted to learn more dances. I was never satisfied with what I already knew." I said and he nodded. "How long have you been dancing?" I asked.

"For as long as I can remember." He said.

"That explains why your so good." I complimented.

"You too! Your tryout was really impressive. I could tell that the music moved you." He said.

"Thanks." I said as I gave him a smile. After that, it got silent again.

"So what do you think of the school?" Jimin asked.

"I like it so far. I got into the dance team like I wanted and made new friends. The only thing that didn't go that well was my interaction with Chelsea." I said. He rolled his eyes in annoyance at the sound of her name. I laughed.

"I guess she isn't your favorite person either?" I said.

"Not even remotely close." He said and I laughed again. Then, before we knew it, we made it to our houses.

"Um, it was a good talk." I said. Way to go with the awkward goodbye Jamie...

"Ya, um. See you at school tomorrow." He said. With that, we both went into our homes and when I closed the door, I leaned against it. They are actually really friendly. And Jimin is kinder than I expected him to be. I took a deep breath as I walked in. Then, I greeted Elizabeth, took a shower, and went down to eat dinner with a smile on my face.
