JAMIE POV

I woke up to the sound of my boyfriend's voice.

"Jagiyaaaaaaaaa." He called. I stirred. "Wake upppppppp." He continued. I smiled and raised my head to look out the window. I was greeted by an adorable smile.

"I'm up! I'm up." I assured. He laughed.

"You look like you didn't get a good night sleep. Is everything okay?" He asked with a concerned look. He understands me so well. I nodded.

"I'm going to go get ready." I said. He nodded and I went to the bathroom. I really wish I could tell Jimin about what happened with Anna... But he can't know about his gift just yet! I finished getting ready and went downstairs. I saw my father and bowed like usual, but I didn't say anything. He was eating breakfast and I was in no mood to eat on the same table as him.

"Sit down." He commanded. I rolled my eyes. I sat down and Elizabeth gave me a plate with a bagel and scrambled eggs on it.

"Your progress report card is coming in soon. I better see nothing but A's, or your dancing life and general life is over." He said. His threat entered my ears and sent shivers down my spine. I wasn't really sure what my grades were. I was too focused on my anniversary to remember about them. I nodded and scarfed down my food. Then, I bowed and rushed out of the door. I saw Jimin as I rushed to him.

"When do the teachers turn the grades in?" I asked.

"I think tomorrow, why?" He asked.

"I need to make sure I have straight A's!" I said, still in a rush. Jimin chuckled.

"Okay, okay, calm down." He said. He calmly took my hand and started walking backwards, facing me as he walked and dragging me with him. I took a few deep breaths.

"Why do you seem so scared?" He asked. Because my dad will beat the life out of me if I don't get good grades.

"Because my dad said I can't dance if I don't keep my grades up." I said. Jimin stopped walking and his eyes widened.

"What?! Why?!" He asked.

"Asian parent expectations?" I said.

"My parents aren't like that!" He said.

"You're lucky..." I said. I looked around nervously.

"Don't worry. You will be fine. I bet you have straight A's anyway." He said with a comforting smile.

"I hope so..." I said. With that, we kept walking.

"Speaking of your father... What is he like? You never really talk about your dad with me. Only about Elizabeth." He said. My heart stopped beating. Because he is a drunkard, and abusive, and I don't want you to pity me...

"There isn't much to say. He has a big company and isn't home very often. We aren't really... Close." I explained shortly, wanting so badly to change the subject.

"Does he know about our relationship?" He asked. I shook my head dangerously.

"No and please... Let's keep it that way." I tried to think as quick as possible for an excuse. "He... Already thinks I'm distracted with dance. If he finds out that I have a boyfriend, he might make me break up with you or something." I said. Jimin's eyes widened again.

"Then we are not going to tell him... Ever." He said. I laughed. "But seriously... I don't think it's right to keep it a secret from him." He added. I sighed. One day, my dad is going to find out... But I have to do everything in my power to prevent it.
