29: First Anniversary (Part 1)

JAMIE POV
I opened my eyes and smiled. Today is the day that marks one month for my relationship with Jimin. I opened the window before Jimin got the chance to wake me up. However, I waited for minutes, but he never opened his window. Did he forget? I shook it off and walked to the bathroom to get ready. After I was done, I grabbed the wrapped shoe box as I went downstairs.

"Happy one month anniversary for you and Jimin!" Elizabeth greeted me.

"Thanks Elizabeth!" I said and I hugged her. "I'm so happy that he is in my life." I said and she nodded.

"I have to talk to you later, but your dad is coming home late tonight so go ahead and spend the day with Jimin after school." She said as she winked. I blushed and nodded.

"Thanks. I won't come home too late so we can talk." I said. Then, I heard the doorbell ring. I opened it and my eyes widened.

"J-Jimin." I said as my heart melted. He was carrying a bouquet of roses and smiling before me.

"Thanks for making me happy for one month." He said as he handed me the flowers. I blushed and took them. With it, he handed me a big blueberry muffin with a little bottle of banana milk. I giggled at his cuteness. Then, he took out a small box from his pocket and handed it to me as well. I put the flowers and muffin down and stared at the box. I slowly opened it to see a beautiful charm bracelet.

"Jimin! It's so pretty!" I said.

"Like you?" He said as he winked. I smiled and hugged him.

"Thank you. Here! This is your gift." I said as I handed him the wrapped box. He looked at me surprised.

"You got me a gift too?" He asked and I nodded.

"Of course!" I answered. He excitedly opened the box like a little child and his eyes widened when he saw the black and white sneakers.

"Woah... Are these dance shoes?" He asked. I smiled as I nodded.

"Do you like them?" I asked. He looked up at me.

"I love them. They're perfect." He said as he kissed my forehead. "Thank you." He said. My heart was beating rapidly.

"AWWW! That was too cute." Elizabeth suddenly said, ruining the moment. I laughed and Jimin bowed.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I really tried to stay quiet but you guys are just too sweet." She said.

"Thank you Elizabeth!" Jimin said.

"You're such a gentleman Jimin. Anyway you guys better go before your late to school!" She said. I nodded and handed her the flowers to put safely in a vase. Then, Jimin took the charm bracelet out of the box and put it on my wrist. It had a 'J' charm on it along with four heart charms, two on each side of the J. The charms were silver and the string of the bracelet was black.

"It's beautiful." I said as I looked up to Jimin. Then, I leaned in and hugged him once more. "Thank you." I said. He stroke my hair with one hand and hugged me with the other.

"No problem Jagiya." He whispered in my ear. Jimin then quickly put on his new sneakers, put the pair he took off in his back pack, and hand-in-hand, we walked to school together.

"Hey Jamie. Will you go out with me after school? I have something planned for us." He said. I smiled and nodded.
After a while, he took a deep breath. "Wow, it's already been a month. Time goes by so quickly when your happy." He said.

"I know right. Before we know it, it will be six months!" I said. "I just can't believe this. Park Jimin, is my boyfriend. The guy every girl in school wants... Wanted me. Why?" I asked.

"Then how about you? Kim Jamie is MY girlfriend. Of all of the guys I see staring at you out of sheer admiration, out of all of the guys I want to punch every time they look at you, why did you choose me?" He asked.

"I asked you first." I said as I smiled. He chuckled.

"Because we have a lot of things in common and you are different from the other girls. You have this charisma that is really hard to avoid, you know that right?" He said. I smiled.

"Of course I do." I said, flipping my hair. He smiled. "I chose you because you make me feel safe and happy. Not because you are the captain of the dance team, not because you are Park Jimin of Bangtan. Because you are Jiminie, the charming boy next door that makes me smile." I said. He laughed.

"Your so cute." He said as he pinched my cheek.

"Yah! Way to ruin the mood!" I laughed. We enjoyed our conversation for the rest of the way. We got to school before I knew it, and we walked into class holding hands. We walked to Rachel, Taehyung, and Jungkook at our table and sat down. Anna hasn't been in school for the past two days... I wonder if she's okay?

"Happy Anniversary love birds!" Rachel congratulated. I blushed.

"Thanks." I said. I looked at her and Taehyung and they were holding hands under the table. I smiled. I'm so glad that they are working out. Jimin put his arm around my shoulder. I guess he saw me looking at them. I laughed and leaned in to his shoulder. Taehyung and Rachel saw this and smiled deviously. They leaned closer too and Rachel hugged Taehyung's upper body, as if they were challenging us. Challenge accepted. Jimin moved his chair behind mine, back hugged me, leaned his face over my shoulder and kissed my cheek. My face started to blush and heat up, but Taehyung and Rachel weren't done either. Rachel sat on Taehyung's lap and kissed his forehead. Jimin seemed to have one more plan. He stood up, turned my face around, and leaned in, almost kissing my mouth. My eyes widened.

"Hey!" Jungkook said, stopping Jimin a centimeter away from me. "I'm still here guys! Don't exclude me with your relationship battle!" He pouted. Jimin smiled and winked at me, still one centimeter away from me. Then, he moved back and fixed his seat once again, next to mine. A second later, Taehyung, Rachel, Jimin, and I started laughing.

"Sorry Kookie!" We said.

"He saved you two!" Taehyung said.

"Yeah right! As if you had a farther move!" Jimin answered. Rachel and I kept laughing. This is fun. Then I remembered that we were in a classroom. I looked around cautiously, checking if anyone saw our little competition. Luckily, it seemed like people were too busy talking amongst themselves, now they were just looking at us and wondering why we were laughing so hard. The only people who did see us, judging by their shocked faces, were Minho and Chelsea. They both looked... Mad? I turned back around.

"Don't worry about them." Jimin whispered into my ear. I turned to him and smiled. Then, remembering the near kiss we shared, I blushed. Was he really going to do it? Was he going to kiss me? A second later, the bell rang and Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook returned to their table, and I sat there, excited for after school to come.
