JAMIE POV
"Goodbye father, I'm going to school." I announced before walking out of the house. I'm not even going to try to please him anymore. I headed to school as I ate an apple. When I got there, I went to my English class. I walked in and saw Rachel and Anna in their usual seats and Bangtan at the back. They smiled at me and waved. I smiled and waved back as I sat down next to Rachel.

"Did Bangtan just wave at you?!" She asked and I nodded.

"B-But how? What?" Anna asked. I giggled.

"They're pretty cool." I said.

"How did you get their attention?" Rachel asked. I shrugged.

"We just started to talk I guess." I said and they looked at me shocked.

"Your so lucky. You have no idea how many girls would love to get a wave from them." Rachel said.

"Ya seriously. Oh! Jamie, do you want to go out to eat with us after school?" Anna asked.

"Sure!" I answered. Then, the bell rang and the teacher walked in. With that, the class started and I started to write down my notes.
.
I guess you can say that Bangtan really meant it when they said that I'm not annoying. In second period, I found myself talking to Jungkook and with Taehyung in third. Also, Jimin and I smiled at each other in fourth period. Anna and Rachel continued to look at me with shock and I also earned some death glares from other girls. Right now, the bell rang for sixth period so I am walking to the dance room. When I got there, Jimin huddled us up in the middle.

"Okay guys I think we got the choreography down. We just have to keep practicing." He said and he sent us out into our positions. We stretched and were about to start, but we stopped when the teacher spoke up.

"Wait, guys before you start, there is a change that I want to make. Sunny! Switch positions with Jamie." He announced. Both my eyes and her eyes widened.

"What?" We both asked in sync.

"Sunny, change spots with Jamie." He repeated. I looked at her with shock.

"B-But I have always been up front!" She argued.

"Well, now your going to be in the middle." He said back. She glared at me and I couldn't help but to feel bad. I didn't mean to take her place. She hesitantly switched spots with me but as we moved I realized that not only her but Chelsea was also giving me a glare. I walked up next to Jimin and looked at him, but he simply acted as if nothing was happening. "Okay! Now go ahead and practice!" The teacher said. Jimin immediately led the group into the dance and I followed along. Although as I danced, I couldn't help but to feel guilty. They already don't like me. I looked in the mirror as we were dancing and saw that Sunny had a stiff expression. I sighed as I continued to move. After practicing it a couple of times, we took a water break and I walked up to Bangtan.

"Hey Jamie!" They greeted. I smiled at them.

"Hey guys." I said. Then, I turned to Jimin.  "Um, Jimin? Why did Sunny and I switch positions?" I asked.

"I guess it's someone else's turn to be up front. Don't worry, she will be fine." He said. I wiped my sweat.

"Yeah but still, I feel bad." I said.

"Don't. You deserve that spot." Jhope said.

"Not really, I'm the new girl." I said.

"But you're good at dancing. That's what's important." He stated. I sighed. Then, they smiled at me for comfort.

"Alright guys let's get back to it!" Jimin yelled. I turned back around and went to my new spot. As I went, Chelsea, Sunny, and Jessica all glared at me. I turned the other way and continued to walk. Don't let them get to you Jamie.
.
After practice, I went to the locker room to change. When I was done, Chelsea and her group approached me.

"How did it feel to stand in a spot you don't deserve?" Sunny spat. I turned to her.

"Look, I'm sorry but I didn't ask for this." I said.

"Then why didn't you say that you didn't want to change?" She asked.

"Because the teacher moved me through his vision of the team. Who am I to disagree with that." I said.

"Who are you to steal my spot?" She said back. I took a deep breath.

"Look Sunny, this wasn't a decision made by me." I said and she rolled her eyes.

"We saw you talking to Bangtan earlier. Stop trying to kiss up to them because they won't give you their attention." Chelsea said. I laughed softly.

"I'm not kissing up to them and I didn't beg for their attention. I'm not like that." I said.

"You seem to think that it's okay to mess with us, but it's not. So back off while you still have a chance. Stop getting on my nerves." Chelsea said. With that, they left and I scoffed. You think that it is okay to mess with me? Try me. I grabbed my bags and walked out of the dance room. Then, I said bye to the team and went to meet Rachel and Anna outside. They greeted me with hugs and we walked to the mall to eat. I texted Elizabeth ahead of time, so she knew that I was going to be home later. When we were at the food court, we got some ddeokbokki, kimbap, and udon and we sat down to eat.

"So how was your guys' day?" I asked.

"Good." They answered.

"How about you?" Anna asked.

"Okay, I guess..." I said. They raised their eyebrows.

"What happened?" They asked. I told them about the switching of spots and the conversation between me and Chelsea's group.

"Aish those fake brats are so annoying. Why can't they just leave everyone alone." Rachel said.

"Seriously what's their problem." Anna added. I sighed.

"Don't worry Jamie. They can't hurt you. They won't be willing to risk their nails to touch anything." Rachel said and I laughed. Then, she changed the subject. "So how did you and Bangtan start talking?" She asked.

"Yesterday, I stayed at the dance room to practice longer and Bangtan was there too. We naturally started talking." I shared.

"But I don't get how they just started talking to you." Anna said and I shrugged.

"Wah, your so lucky. If you start to get closer with them, you can't forget about us!" Rachel said and I laughed.

"Of course I won't!" I said. With that, we laughed and talked about other things. When it got dark, we left the mall.

"Bye guys! I'll see you tomorrow." I said. They said bye back and we all hugged before separating. When we did, I walked back towards my house. As I got closer, I had a feeling that I wasn't alone. I quickly turned around and looked to see if anyone else was around. When I did, I saw Jimin  dragging his feet as he walked with his hands in his pockets. When he saw me, he smiled.

"Hey Jamie! Why are you walking alone? It's getting dark." He said.

"I hung out with my friends today. I'm on my way home." I said and he nodded. Then, he caught up with me and we walked together.

"You know you really shouldn't mind the position change. I think you deserve to be there more than her." He said.

"I don't know... It just seems unfair for her." I said but he shook his head.

"She had her chance. Trust me, you have nothing to worry about." He said. I just nodded uneasily as we continued to walk. When we got to the front of our houses, we stopped. Will it be another awkward goodbye?

"Hey Jamie?" Jimin asked. I turned to him.

"Yeah?" I asked. He rubbed the back of his neck.

"Do you want to... Um... Walk to school together tomorrow?" He asked. I smiled.

"Sure. I'll be out by 7:15." I said and he nodded.

"Okay. See you tomorrow then, goodnight." He said.

"Goodnight Jimin." I said back. With that, we walked into our homes and I closed the door. That wasn't so bad.
